Consistently Beating Legendary CPU custom Tactics

I have been having a lot of trouble defending and holding the cpu to scoreless games. They always find a way to score and it is simply just getting one guy open from passing around my field and even when I have someone on them they manage to curve the ball into the goal. It is frustrating. I get my chances but when I am Bayern Munich playing a weak team in the league, I should be controlling the game. I feel every game as if I am a weaker team. What custom tactics are best against cpu on legendary? Something that has proven effective and if I can master so I can do well in career mode.

I am seriously thinking about breaking this game. It is ridiculous and unnecessary stress. I lose 2-1 to Anderlecht with Bayern Munich. I play perfect defense and they get some lucky goal by hitting the post. I am sick of FIFA. There is no such thing as fun anymore. There used to be a time where you play legendary and get realistic results or at least have a chance. I cannot win anything. Even if I win one game I will lose 10.

I had a game earlier where at halftime I had 14 tackles and I was down 0-1. On the goal they scored I counted 6 tackles by my players where the ball went straight to one of their players. 6 times in a row until the last guy went through 3 of my defenders to score.

I ended up tying the game in the 84' but then in extra time suddenly they get a PEN goal.

The other day I lost 0-1 on a totally BS OG.

Sometimes there is just nothing you can do. The AI is going to score no matter what.

Maybe you made the jump to legendary too soon? If legendary is too hard for you, just lower the difficulty. In FIFA 11 I played in world class and would win 4-0, I was barely starting to control matches in legendary when I bought FIFA 13. In 13, I couldn't even touch the ball and I was in world class. I was getting hammered constantly. So I started to play in professional. Now I'm doing well in world class and should soon make the jump to legendary again. Just lower the difficulty and move up when you're ready. Trust me you'll get Better.

Well playing world class is easy. I still let in goals but I usually win. I am working on my season and I actually won 4 of my last 5 on legendary: 1-0, 1-0, 2-1, 1-0, 2-2 which was stupid because i was up 2 and they got a penalty and then some lucky goal over 3 defenders.

Looks like you're fine now then. Those results sound realistic too. I usually dominate easily in world class, but last game I was up 2-0 at halftime, and in the second half they actually switched it on me 2-3. I was super pissed but hey that's football lol
