Using the Operation Sports Blogs:
Operation Sports.com offers a very interactive tool in their in-site blog pages. Teams can create blogs for their dynasty teams which can include any information pertaining to your team, or your "Team Page", think of it as your favorite NHL teams blogspot, where instead you are creating and circulating the rumors, team banter, game recaps, etc. There will a centralized "League Blog" where all "Team Blogs" can be accessed at readily and easily.
An example of my idea is below:
Brian Boyle called out by Coach Torterella
-Brian Boyle's reputation as the Rangers blue-collar body in the lineup has been scrutinized by fans all season, and now it has come full-circle to his head coach.
"He's supposed to be our big guy, and he better start throwing that body of his around or he's gonna start watching the games from the Press Box"
Coach John Torterella is clearly frustrated with the struggling start of the New York Rangers, and he may make a point of it by using the healthy-scratch button on some familiar faces of the lineup.

Using the "Post Notifications" option as a Twitter Feed:
When inside the GMC, there is an option to hit Triangle and post a message for public viewing for all league members.
This "Post Notification" menu will be our "Twitter-Feed" where GMs can post REALISTIC "tweets" throughout the season. These can be used for a wide range of activities:
Identifying Hot Streaks---> Crosby sores 5th goal in 2 games #TooHotForTV
Game Recap---> Nash gets Nashty In OT..Rangers win 3-2 vs NJD #RivalHockey
Fans perspective tweets----> Boyle looked invisible on the ice today #TradeBait
And anything in that neighborhood....it really will add to the fun and league-activity and enjoyment. We all know hockey rivalries are the meanest and most entertaining on the planet, so LETS EMBRACE IT!
Possible Use of Facebook:
If the league decides they are into the idea, I will create a Facebook page for the league. The page will be another out-of-game element to add to the enjoyable nature that LEU is trying to establish. After all, its a video game, lets have some fun!!
Opening Day Rosters
First league on Operation Sports, for PS3, that offers updated, opening day lineups to lace up with. All trades, waiver transactions, signings, etc. will be included in our roster.
