I started my career up the other day as a right fielder who was drafted by the Blue Jays. Not sure if I will keep rolling with this one or start another one after OSFM is released. Liking what I'm seeing so far.

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I've been torn on if I want to wait for OSFM or not. One reason being that it is cool to play in the minors with all the real minor league players. On the other hand, though, sometimes I ask myself if it is really a big deal or not to play RTTS with the stock rosters. Decisions decisions. Haha.Comment

I usually start an RTTS without the OSFM to get a feel for the mode and see what it's all about. It's kinda like spring training for me. When OSFM is released I usually start over or pick another position. I'm usually not that far into the mode when OSFM is released.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I'll make my SP, who I enter into the draft, to hold me over until OSFM comes out, then I'll make my Mariners CF.
Hopefully it isn't inevitable that you get traded this year. I never got to play for the M's in any of my RTTS last year.Mariners Baseball | Lakers Basketball | Rams FootballComment

I am also going to put a lot of time in RTTS this year. I feel like I can get into it more because of how much more customization options they have added, also because of the updated/added overlays. I saw a video that Millennium posted and it looked really nice. Excited for Tuesday.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I've hit 2016 as a Sp and I've noticed a few things in regards to veterans. Once an elite hitter or any hitter for that matter hits 32 their attributes fall off a cliff. At 32 Miggy was a 99, at 33 he's 91 and at 34 he's sub 80. This sort of attribute regression is really bugging me.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
It's too extreme, you'd expect the elite hitters to be able to manage their regression somewhat, instead of being 67 rated by the time they hit 36. See Chipper Jones as real-life example, even in his last season he was a damn sight better than a 67. We're talking about the best of the best, and they're degrading like mediocre hitters.
On the flipside Angels fans must hate the fact players won't retire until a contract expires, Pujols has 5 seasons left on his contract in my game and he's a 67.Comment
