    Ochocinorice's Rotations for 30-team Association

I am using the "Trifecta Project" Roster/Draft Class/Sliders. They are excellent, and I highly suggest them if you have Xbox 360.

I went through all of the teams and used their season rotations as well as incorporating their "last 10 games" when determining them. They are built assuming everyone on the team is healthy. I think they are pretty damn accurate and recommend them to anyone wanting to good rotations.

I've never had issues with my players playing several minutes less than what I set the rotations at. Vtcrb adjusts his rotations by adding several minutes to each superstar to ensure that that get the appropriate playing time.

I also use 9-10 man rotations (dependent on the team in real life). The rest of the players get no playing time. This will be the lineups used during a majority of the team's games (not blowouts or mismatched games) This way, all of the guys who actually play 80% or more of the team's games get their actual mpg and don't get shorted any, which would greatly hinder their facts. Even guys at the end of the rotation would average 10+ mpg often, they just simply play in fewer games. So the guys that only appear in about half of the teams games when healthy, don't get any time with these rotations, even if they would average, let's say, 12 mpg in those handful of appearances.

Let me know what you guys think. Use these with somewhat of a grain of salt, you can alter them as you see fit. I will gladly take suggestions as well.

*This is not a competition between vtcrb and myself, these rotations are just my personal preferences. I am not knocking on his. His are great too. It's just a different variety based on what you may like.

Based on the eye test they look good, but for the Bulls Hinrich would likely get the nod over either robinson or belinelli.

Yes Hinrich was a tough one for me as well, it was difficult to assign him a number. I went ahead and gave the nod to Robinson, but it could easily go the other way, just preference really. Robinson provides that spark off the bench and can really go off at any given point. However, he provides that spark now, when the Bulls are without Rose, so I'm not sure how his PT would fair when Rose is back

I wouldn't even consider it preference, Hinrich has started in every single game he has played. There is no doubt that at the very least Hinrich would be part of the rotation. I wouldn't even be at all surprised if the Bulls started a backcourt of Rose and Hinrich and brought in Hamilton, Robinson, and Belinelli all in as part of the rotation off the bench. The Bulls are a deeper team especially with Rose helathy.

          Good job though

I went back and actually edited the Bulls rotation, then I saw your post. I agree about Hinrich and I didn't make the best decision as far as leaving him out of the rotation. I adjusted the Bulls to have a 10 man rotation now, trying to incorporate Hinrich and Robinson in there, but obviously lowering their minutes due to Rose's presence

Any other suggestions for the rotations or guys mpg?

I'm completely open. I'm glad the Bulls/Hinrich was brought up, that was one I completely looked over when doing them myself. Teamwork can go a long way lol

Edit: I adjusted the Jazz to work Tinsley into the rotation. I like Burks more, but realistically, old-man Tinsley gets his share of time too. I don't really want an 11 man rotation with them (would prefer to cut down to 10), but I couldn't really find the right guy to cut out

The Cavs work Walton into their rotation as well. He plays nearly every game.

I'd bump Thompson down to the 28-29 range, I'd drop Andy because I can't see him consistantly playing that many minutes when he comes back (too injury prone). Maybe drop Gee to 29 to allow more minutes for Walton to get in the rotation.

Does Walton play more than Livingston does?

                    I'd say Livingston plays more...

                    Irving 35, Waiters 30, Gee 29, Thompson 28, Varajao 31, Speights 20, Zeller 20, Ellington 19, Livingston 16, Miles 12

                    Yay or nay?

If anything I would flop Livingston and Miles minutes. Walton is without a doubt part of the rotation though. It is up to you. Livingston has played more recently with Kyrie hurt, Walton gets more when Kyrie isn't hurt

Thanks this saved me some time. I did something like this with an early update and I was in the process of updating it (17 teams done). But I can use yours as a base if it is using the last ten games. I was using a shorter time frame. I was using Espn and then just using their post all-star break split for each team. Like this:

Get the split stats vs. Post All-Star for the 2024-25 Regular Season Cleveland Cavaliers on ESPN. Includes team leaders in points, rebounds and assists.
