I'm using catcher zoom 2 and I'm finding hitting almost too easy now and i struggled mightily in the past. Thought maybe it was just the bigger timing window in this year's game but I went and recreated the cam in 12 and was still crushing the ball in the two games I played.Comment

Re: Best hitting camera?
Classic catcher is always my favorite. The distance to the pitcher feels realistic where the other catcher modes feel like the pitcher is on second base.
I wish we had a 1st person camera that looks out of the eyes of the hitter. I'm sure it is comingComment

Re: Best hitting camera?
Loved it last year, tried to replicate it myself in this game. I did a decent job, but thanks for that link again.
Wonder if following these steps will work out the sameRams, Jays, Raptors, LeafsComment

Re: Best hitting camera?
The cam I use in one year is always taken out in the next....
I like to use an offset cam, but none of them this year provides enough offset to get help the depth perception getting lost in 2D. Wondering which one to use for online games.Comment

Re: Best hitting camera?
Offset for me.
The one thing the offest camera does is make the Righty/Lefty pitching mathups so much more important. When hitting against a right handed pitcher, the lefty batter's view is centered perfectly to see the release of the ball, and to see plate coverage.
When hitting Lefty/Lefty, you lose the outside edge as a visual, and you will find it a bit tougher to judge the balls on the outside black.
I love that you need to look at the lineups, and decide whether the power hitting lefty is worth leaving him in there, or getting a better look at the ball.
Also makes the pinch hitting game very interesting, with regards to when to hit for who.
