So, I finally finished my DL and installation. Get past the intros and it freezes up on the loading screen before the main menu. Anyone experiencing this/have any idea what the problem could be? I'm itching to finally play already and downloading definitely wasn't the best idea for me it seems

Anyone able to download the extra funds for franchise mode that were included in the pre-order? I can't seem to find it on the store =/

I believe Sony said this will be up "later today," which I'm assuming means whenever the PS Store updates today. That SHOULD be any minute now.

My game finished downloading today around noon so I started downloading the additional content right away. It just finished up about a half hour a go, and as I go to install, it stops at 12% and says it won't install because it's corrupted. I guess I'll have to download it again for another 7 hours or so...

So the download finished, I installed the main game then I go to install the additional content and it was corrupted..... So I have to redownload the game and in my apartment its peak internet use so my internet is slow now...

Yea...I think we are all just learning a big lesson here......what the F was I thinking paying full price for a game that in no way or form was gonna be ready and playable at midnight PST. 12 hours of download time, an hour of installation time only to find out a file is "corrupted", 23 GB of space taken up on your HD, oh and btw.....you wanna sell the game on CL when youre done with it? Good luck with this digital mess of a game.... how stupid can I be??? Here we are roughly 21 hours after the release and I still have yet to play it......next time a midnight Walmart run is def. Gonna be my option....

I spent all afternoon and night downloading everything. Finally finished and I went to install the game only to find out that 37 gb really isn't enough space for the game even though they advertise that 24gb is enough. I called sony and they are trying to get me to upgrade my hard drive. I am so pissed. I should've just bought the game disk. I am done with this game. So frustrating. Back to nba 2k.

You need double the space for PSN downloads - so at least 44 GB free (PSN Blog lists the game at 22 GB). You need 22 for the download, and the other 22 for the install. The download file will be deleted after installation so the game only takes 22 GB when it's all said and done.

At least this is how I believe it works. I've never run into an issue, but have read about this often.

You are right sir. That's what sony told me on the phone. I am pissed because I was looking forward to playing the game all night. (Snow storm coming). Oh well. Nothing I can do about it tonight. Hope you all are enjoying the game when you get it up and running.

Update! 94% done! lol!!! Only started downloading it at midnight last night haha. Hopefully i'll be able to play it tonight, tho my ps3 probably wants to take a nap after pulling an all-nighter :P
