The show is drifting a little this season. The pecking order of antagonists is murky, at least to me.

That being said, I'm still enjoying.

I think it was said before the season there won't really be a man "bad guy" that Raylan has to deal with and instead an overall mystery (the bag)

Felt like that was the best episode of the season. That may just be because I was giddy to see Raylan quickdraw on someone this season. Been too long since that.

The scene with Arlo was great at the end too. Seems like the Drew Thompson story is finally moving along.

The character of "Colt" has been all over the place. As I mentioned previously I like the actor that plays him (Ron Eldard), but would have liked the character to be more consistent. His current trajectory doesn't have him appearing next season.

I'm glad the Jody thing was dealt with quickly. Justified does a great job of swiftly wrapping things up when needed.

I agree (Sandman42). The scene with Arlo was gold. His expression at the end was very telling.

I think I'd like to see more of Ms. Jackie Nevada, the UK grad student.

Love this show. I like how they get the little details correct. They have UK banners in the bar, they have police cars that look just like the Lexington Police Department, they give the names of roads and places that are in Lexington and Kentucky, they even had an episode where people made fun of a Louisville fan, lol. The only thing I'd complain about is that the show makes it seem like Lexington and Harlan are about 20 mins away from each other. They are actually about 3 hours apart. Not a big deal, just a minor inconsistency.

Also thought this was a stand out episode for this season. The Drew mystery is getting more interesting. Can't wait to see how Boyd handles the old money fellows, or how they handle him.

I thought the Drew Thompson reveal was obvious, but other than that it was a fantastic episode. And I love that the snake preacher's sister is back and further entangled in the plot. I was annoyed at first that they had seemingly just dropped that storyline and discarded her character. I should have had more faith in the writers.

That took me totally by surprise.

The subtle, nuanced writing in this series deserves a lot of credit.

They know who Drew is and they have 4 episodes left.

The last two episodes have more than made up for an uneven start to this season. Glad they got Limehouse back in the mix.
