    As stated in another forum topic I believe there is an issue with first pitch strikes being right down the center almost all the time when in real life it happens about 58% of the time. Anyone play around with CPU strike freq and accuracy?

      Again, this is the same issue that existed last year, with the main difference being that instead of the CPU painting the black for strike one, they're throwing it right down the pipe.

      TNK's 2012 CPU Pitch sliders were as follows:

      Contol: 4
      Consistency: 4
      Strike Frequency: 3

      I used 4, 3, 3 last year, and I'm using that as my base this year. I've already noticed a difference. CPU first strike percentage went from 75-80% at default to about 60% at 4, 3, 3. Again, TNK may find something different, but I feel that 4, 3, 3 is a good place to start out with.

        Just remember guys - when I put something out there tonight:

        It's for us to test and figure stuff out, but give us a better starting point than default out of the box sliders will.

        These will be far from a finished product

          No problem. I have time to test in RTTS until the OS rosters come out.

            Where can I get last years sliders? I want to use them until he has a close to, or finished product with these ones.

                  One thing that HAS to be considered, is the camera angle you play from... "Classic Camera" & "Classic Camera 2" although NOT seeming all that different, play a completely different way...

                  Jumping from CC to CC2 is like upping the pitch slider 2 clicks...

                        When you get a chance, could you give a quick walk through on how to get the positioning for your cam. I have tried for about an hour now and I can't get it right. Thanks.

                          Start with Catcher Classic 1 and move it around - not sure how else to explain it

                          I'm actually experimenting with a different camera (Catcher Classic 2) and making adjustments so I will probably have a new pic up there soon

                            I played my first game but I used TIMING.

                            I was the Yankees against the jays, lost 5-3.

                            I had 8 hits to the jays 9

                            I had 1 HR to the jays 2

                            Both had 2 doubles

                            I walked 3 times, to their 2

                            I k'd 6 times to the jays 7

                            Their only steal attempt was caught

                            I had the only error.

                            Forgetting anything?

                            Had a really fun time and they already work good.

                              There is something I do that might help others to get their view close to yours. Turn on the strike zone before you take the screen shot. Anyone trying to copy your view can match up how your strike zone lines up with the pitcher. As long as they use the same batter and pitcher it becomes a very quick and accurate method. Took me about 30 seconds to recreate the view I was using in v11 (skipped buying v12) for v13.
