Does anyone use pass commit?
If so when and how often because I tried using every play the other day and still got beaten alot in coverage. I talking about L2 and up on the right stick pre-snap on PS3.Tags: None -
75% of pass plays maybe more and I find it to be very effeftive. I usually user the safety in combination but the cpu AI generally gets a jump on the pass reads. *playcalling still matters
Sent from my SGH-I727R using Tapatalk 2how could I lose? im playing by my own rules.. -
Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
I use both pass and run. You have to choose wisely, choosing run when it's pass can get you burned good. If you don't know it's best to leave it alone. But I like the feature.Comment

Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
Use pass commit when I know it's a pass play. 3rd and long etc. run commit is to dangerous because you pretty much have to guess which way they are running. Usually when they have 1 to go, you usually can run commit up the middle since that's the shortest distance for first. But usually leave it alone and try to at good DComment

Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
I do better when I don't use pass or run committ. Even when I chose run, I seam to give up more yards then when I don't use it. Ya, they committ to run, buts it is like their IQ level for football goes down to nothing. They forget to target the ball carier, lol.Comment

Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
Run commit only on goal line situations. They will usually tend to go middle. But that's only time I use it. You will get burned way to much. If you get burned in goal line, at least they were close enough they may have scored anywaysComment

Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
yep. i can never seem to pick the right side. i don't use it @ all besides inside the 5 & usually up the middle. & if they pass, 1-2 guys usually WIDE open & i have great cover secondary.
on the other hand, played against someone the other night & they picked the correct side prob 90% of the time. i was countering, running weak side, strong, middle... everything. is there a tell? the couple times he did choose wrong, huge run for a TD or close. when you get burned, its bad.Comment

Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
I don't use either.
With run commit, like was mentioned, players get stupid and it's just an "all pile up in X direction" which is just...not run defense.
Pass commit never really made much difference for me either way.
Plus, my play call should "commit" my defense, and if want to stop the pass, I need to get a pass rush and good secondary. If I want to stop the run, I either need guys who can do it in my front seven, run blitz, put 8 in the box, and/or knock them off-schedule in down and distance."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: Does anyone use pass commit?
I have experimented a lot with both commits. I have found that the run commit seems to work best if you are in a 2 man under defense but you must play off coverage so you don't get burned deep if it is a pass. Also, in certain zones i.e. Cover 3 the run commit is just plain awful. Pass commit works best when you know it's a pass (obviously) and usually best in some sort of zone or zone blitz. It works in man coverage as well but doesn't seem as effective.Comment
