Re: EA and ESPN Kick Off Madden NFL 25 Cover Vote

Im gonna vote Jake Delhomme just for the heck of it but saying it now, Deion Sanders beats Joe Montana in the finals. Also Will be RG3 beating Russell Wilson. RG3 takes the cover of Madden 25 over Deion if I understand it correctly.

It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

As much as I didn't like the cover votes when they first started, I have to admit its a genius idea by EA... Most people have probably hung up their controller on the Madden year shortly after the Super Bowl, this cover vote gets them talking about the game Months before its release.

I think I've become bitter in regards to the cover athletes. I'd rather them just slap someone on there, or release multiple covers with different atheletes. It would be awesome to have a Jake Delhomme cover Madden from the store and not have to mod the case.

A little disappointed as a Bears fan that Ron Rivera is representing the team in the old school bracket.

Can I just vote for Charissa Thompson in a Bears uniform to grace the cover?

i'm voting for current players...i don't want to see a retired player on a 2013 game cover. makes no sense.

Montage cover... Ray Lewis facing Mike Singletary... Jerry Rice facing Randy Moss... Andrian Peterson facing Walter Payton... L.T. (Lawrence Taylor not the other guy) facing Harrison of the Steelers... Joe Montana facing Tom Brady and Maddens face in the background with all of the Championship rings surrounding the outer layer of the box.

It should be more than one player on the cover. The past 3 SB Champions.

Jake Delhomme and Cortez Kennedy for the Finals please. A QB vs HoF DT that people don't really know much about unless you live in Seattle. And Russell Wilson for New School!

That is what I'm saying. I mean really come on! At least we have Green in the today bracket. Even Ickey Woods or Cris Collinsworth would be better picks.

Back in the day, didn't EA want Joe Montana to endorse it before they went with Madden? But Montana was already signed to Sega? That's how I remember it, but I could be mistaken...

Anyway, for the 25th anniversary, I'd love to see Joe Montana finally make the cover. Kinda full-circle, I guess.
