Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
Steve Nikorak (3B) was a 32nd round pick by the White Sox this year. I am hoping he ends up on the OSFM rosters but I doubt he will. I played little league against him, and he lived in my neighborhood and we played street hockey together frequently. Do you think it is realistic for him to be added this year? I know I could always make him and switch out another prospect for him if he does not make it in.NHL: Rangers
MLB: Yankees
NFL: Giants

Yea, I could do that for you. I'll let you know when he's ready.Comment

I've honestly never heard of him. He won't make it in the final set, but if I have the time I could try to create him for you so you could swap him out.Steve Nikorak (3B) was a 32nd round pick by the White Sox this year. Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
Angel Sanchez has been uploaded to the vault. The only changes that may happen still is his equipment, as I haven't caught a ST game yet this year. Ratings are taken directly from MLB 12: The Show. He has an overall of 70, D potential, and SS/2B/3B eligibility. No service time either, but I'm sure that will change once SCEA adds him into the game as it seems he will make the team as the backup infielder.

Simon Castro, Santos Rodriguez, Nestor Molina, Erik Johnson, Scott Snodgress, Stephen Gartrell, Marcus Semien, Trayce Thompson, Seth Loman, & Keenyn Walker were all sent to minor league camp. No surprises there.Comment

CWS - Which batting stances are you going to be using for Jared Mitchell, Kennyn Walker, and Courtney Hawkins? Thanks.Comment

Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
He played 3B at Temple...he has some pop, has a good arm, and has good leadership qualities. Most people have never heard of him though haha. But yeah that would be awesome because you are probably a lot better at making realistic prospects than me.
He plays for the Great Falls Voyagers. Here an article with a little bit about him:

Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
I'm somewhat surprised by Simon Castro, because he was dominating (not going to make the team, but maybe deserved a longer look) and Trayce Thompson, simply because De Aza and Rios are in the WBC still.Comment

Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
Seriously? The pitch he turned the corner with an is a very rare pitch for someone in the majors to have, and they overlook it? Weird. They must not have a CWS fan in their player creation team, because that seems like an obvious trait to associate with Santiago. Oh well, I'll just add it in like I do with Sale's slurve.Comment

Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
Thanks for uploading Sanchez man! And as far as the bench goes, I think it could be a mix of a few of the current guys in camp:
C - Gimenez
IF - A. Sanchez/Tolleson (both could back up second short and third and Tolleson can play the outfield in a pinch)
1B/3B/left handed bat - Gillaspie/Bell (I think Gillaspie wins this one, but does Bell have a minor league option left? If not, maybe with the spring he has had, he can be dealt to the Yankees for something decent.
OF - WiseComment

Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
Fangraphs (and therefore The Show) has his screwball as his 6th pitch so it got left out due to the game's limitations... Brooks baseball has it as his 5th pitch, so when I do pitch edits it will be included

Re: OSFM 2013: Chicago White Sox
No problem. As for the bench, I think it's inevitably going to be Gimenez, Sanchez, Wise, and Gillaspie. Sanchez is a Rule 5, so he has to make the team or get sent back to the Angels. Anyone that is a ST invite doesn't burn an option to go to the minors, they have the right to ask for a release though (unless I am mistaken). Thanks for uploading Sanchez man! I think they have Wise, Tekotte, Danks, and Mitchelle before Thompson as far as status goes. So I guess they will have those four battle it out. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to him getting more AB's in minor league camp too.
That makes sense. But good to hear.Comment
