MLB 2K12 - 1998 Season Xbox 360

I'm working on the 1998 baseball season for Xbox. All teams have been named and have their correct batting orders and pitching rotations. I will now be adjusting player ratings and appearances for all players. Suggestions are more than welcome. I'm using http://www.baseball-reference.com for most of my information.

could you make the proper retros as the real jerseys (you can do that) and add in some of the retired hidden players? That would be great.

Yep I've already changed the Marlins, Rays and the Diamondbacks uniforms. Right now I'm just trying to find an acceptable substitute for the Expos.

Plus I'm slowly adding back the retired players I can find, some unfortunately have had their cyberfaces removed, but at least their portraits are still in the game.

Yep found all the portraits, but no go on their cyberfaces. I have the PC version also, so it makes it easier to track some of this stuff and double check that it is also included in the 360 version. But once I have the rosters set then I will be going back and trying to match up the star players with cyber faces that are already in the game instead of the crappy generic cyber faces. Most of those are just hideous.

Nice stuff!! If you get this done, I "MIGHT" be willing, upon your approval, consider re-doing my 1995 season. If I could use your file as a base I can just work backwards from it. Not sure yet as it's a ton of work, but I was going to do so last year, just never got the time. I have all my sites still bookmarked for my research. I did this for 2K11 - had it done and then found the hidden name glitch wouldn't let me upload it onto 2K Share. When I asked who wanted them, nobody did. But it was kinda dead here back then...

Let me know if you're going to finish this and if you'd let me use your file as a base. Again, not certain, but your work would save me a TON of time. Thanks!! Mike

Sure you are more than welcome to use it for the 95 season. It will take me some time to finish this up, but once I'm finished have at it. I might be asking for some help when it comes time for ratings because I know you have a lot more experience with that than I do.

I needed him for a 2006 roster, could you upload his DNA to 2kshare along with a couple other of the guys you unlock?

I just uncovered his portrait, didn't actually find Delgado hidden so he's just replacing a current minor league player. Not sure if that would transfer over the DNA upload. And I haven't even touched their ratings yet. My first goal is to get the rosters and lineups and pitching order set then I'll move on to appearances and then finish that up with ratings. Yankees and White Sox, are finished.

anyways, if you could, it would be great if you uploaded guys that you find actual cyberfaces for, like Mike Sweeney, Mike Lowell, Troy Glaus, David Eckstein, Randy Winn, Jose Guillen, Garrett Anderson, Frank Catalanotto, ect. Basically whoever you can get onto 2kshare would help a lot, even if it doesnt have a portrait.

I've uploaded a beta version on Xbox Live. About 8 teams with correct names and players and a lot of hidden players added back to the roster. Ratings haven't been touched yet, but this will give folks and idea of what I'm doing. Feel free to take a look.

for ewingandoakley Mike Lowell and Troy Glaus are in the game but I have left them in the minors since they were called up later in the year.

Looks good. Noticed Ron Gant was the wrong race, and also saw a player that was missing a name (just had his first or last name). Maybe the REDitor caused this?? Thanks!
