Not a bad game by Rapids today at Rio Tinto. Getting any result from the match is a plus. The keeper for Rapids played fantastically even in conceding one.

The Timbers just don't want to make it easy!

A couple goals back to back for FC Dallas. Michel was a great late signing. He's awesome on free kicks and creating chances off crosses.

what an ugly game we played against a 10 man goat squad. Giving up that 90th minute equalizer is inexcusable. Then Chelis and his squad parading around our stadium afterwards like they won a cup. Ugggh. Moving on.

              Chivas played unbelievably dirty.

That wasn't just "heated and chippy derby game" that was "legitimately trying to injure the entire opposing team while not making any real attempt to play soccer"

I thought you couldn't care less about Chivas.

haha. Still couldn't care less. We have a target on our back, they stepped up their game and caught us slipping. But to them it's a different story. They were out to hurt us literally. Their own players even warned Magee about one of their own after a hard tackle.

No Keane for our next game due to wc qualifying.

Gave up an easy goal there at the end to lose 2 points. I thought Sounders played well, but looks like we have to learn how to play 90 minutes again.

Loved what Martins brought even though he hasn't even practiced with the team. Guy is strong and physical which is a must in MLS. Was a beautiful pass to nobody in the 80th, but given time, and practice with the rest of team, somebody will be there.

Absolutely love the NBC Sports wrap around, can't remember the name of it but I think it's a great idea. Rapids/RSL was a very entertaining game. Sporting KC still needs some time to get used to this possession game and adjusting to life without Kamara and Espinoza. Sapong had some chances in the crowded box. Best chances were off of set pieces throughout the game. Anibaba looked very good imo for the Fire. Very strong presence defensively as a right back, didn't catch to much of him offensively. Morrow's been in good form as well for the Quakes and I think he'll be warranting some looks in the future for the USMNT.

Why does Sean Johnson get call ups over Hamid? I've always been under the impression that Hamid is better

We got a 1-0 win over Colorado with the lone goal coming on a pk. The scoreline would indicate an ugly win and struggle, but not really. We really dominated in all aspects of the game. We had no Keane, Gonzalez, and still no Donovan. We had 2 amazing teenagers starting as our forwards with McBean and Villarreal and both of them got off plenty of shots. Gotta give it up to the Rapids young keeper, Irwin. He alone kept the Rapids in the game. Could've easily been 4 or 5-0 if it wasn't for him.

I really hope we play a mostly reserve squad vs Toronto next weekend. The big one vs Monterrey is coming up.

I keep trying to get into the MLS, but I just can't do it. When the MVP of the league is a 30 year old American who doesn't even deserve a spot on the USMNT, there are issues. I'm technically in the San Jose market, so I can watch the Earthquakes' games whenever I want. The fans are great, but the stadium has a definite Little League feel to it.

I fail to see how that's an issue. It's much better for the health of the league and the National Team if Americans are excelling domestically as opposed to the league being dominated be foreigners.

They broke ground on their own stadium back in October. It's planned to open next year.
