Do you guys think the atlanta hawks are a good project team to build into contenders?

I wanna resign J Smoove to a max deal then build around him. What would be some tips yall think would help me build the best team around his talent?

Get JSmooth a consistent scoring option from PG who can also facilitate to him. Smiths main strengths come from his defense but if he accepts a Max contract he would undoubtedly need to assume responsibility on offense aswell.

History is against the PG & PF combo for winning championships. I.E Stockton & Malone, Payton & Kemp, Nash & STAT. The only worthwhile exception are the Spurs, but i dont know where they would be without Manu & Greg Pop. So go out and make history!

Try and free cap space in the first season, so you can have a go at acquiring CP3. Start looking at possibly also unloading Horfords contract. Sign Coach Woodson back in the 2nd season!

i have a deal i can make with celtics on the table. Lou Williams, Devin Harris, Dahanty Jones and 1st rd pick for Avery Bradley and Paul Pierce.

Also do you not think Teague will become any good in future as the main point guard

That's a horrible trade for you. Lou, Devin and Dahanty are all good role players with low salary. I'd look for better options if I were you.

I like using the hawks

1. They have the best variety of nice looking unis if you have all of the classics unlocked
2. They have a ton of expiring deals
3. You have options as the gm. Do you move forward with smith? Let him walk? Trade him?

I currently am in year 2. I had 2 early first round picks since I used real trade debts.

I took Otto porter at #4 overall and Isaiah Austin at number 13 I think? Can't recall the exact pick.

Lineup is
Teague- Dominique jones- bj young
John Jenkins- Morris almond
Otto porter- Reggie bullock
Al horford- earl Clark
Isaiah Austin- zeke Marshall

This year the team will probably struggle with no true star, and a lot of young players getting minutes.

This should set us up nicely in the 2014 draft though which features wiggins and Parker toward the top end.

Im not sold on it either but i seen bradley has A+ pot. but pierce contract would hinder me once i sign Smith to his deal.

If you are going to go down the track of Draft Picks, may i suggest you use a decent "Draft Class" because the ones that 2k generate are an absolute joke! the community however have spent lots of time to make those draft classes somewhat realistic.

I acually want to trade my pic and maybe lou willams and bring back someone so we can try and win now. Just dont know what deal to take so i can stay finacally good for free agency

I think I traded D.Stevenson and A.Morrow for J.R. Smith and Steve Novak. And I traded Devin Harris strait up for Gallinari.
