Re: Brady Quinn
I haven"t tried him in a career but he has pretty good skills
Throw Power 88
Throw Accuracy 94
Awareness 92
Potential
pure passer 91
Field general 93
Balanced 91
Mobile 87
Strong arm 88
Learning 95
I would imagine he would work very well in about any system. -
Re: Brady Quinn
I have had 3 different dynasties with the Browns and I have never been able to do anything with him. I dont know what it is, but he never does develop. One thing I cant stand is his desire to pull the ball down and run with it, even when there is no pressure.Comment

Re: Brady Quinn
I normally use Holgrem's West Coast. I started a new Browns franchise and am in the 2nd season. I just played the 3rd pre-season game and he did it again. He tried to scramble 4 times (he only played 1 1/2 quarters). The worst was on a 3 and 17. He was able to get 5 yards.
It is like he panics and wont wait for the receivers to get open.Comment

Re: Brady Quinn
After reading your post I decided to look into Brady Quinn Traits through the roster editor and noticed something right away.
Under "QB Tendency" Brady Quinn is listed as a "Scramber" and under "Sense Pressure" he is listed as "Paranoid"
These 2 settings are probably the cause for the tucking and running.
If it helps I can edit these to "Pocket Passer" and "Ideal" for you and send you the updated roster.
It would mean starting a hole new career mode however.
Im still trying to figure out how to edit players from career mode but dont have this figure out yet...
Let me know
Thanks, CageComment

Re: Brady Quinn
I remember using the Browns like 2 years ago, and simmed the first year so I could fire my coaches, etc. Had him as the starter and he threw for 59 touchdowns. (was using someone's custom sliders, not the set I use now) - The result disgusted me and I restarted the franchise, playing the first season. I remember I decided to use the Mich Spread and Quinn did pretty well his first year - of course it always starts bad because no one knows the plays, etc - plus the division rivals are killers for a rebuilding squad - but like any QB, esp a young one, you can make him a perennial Pro Bowler if you work at it. Give it a go, you should do fine.Comment

Re: Brady Quinn
I look at him as a player that has all the skills, both physical and mental, but because he is so paranoid in the pocket he can't put it all together on the field. I wouldn't want to modify his skills to make him play better, but I do like to see how well I can get him to play through coaching, schemes, and play calling.Comment

Re: Brady Quinn
I don't think I have ever seen him do anything in any of my games. I either trade him or cut him as soon as I can. I agree about changing him to make him better, thanks for the offer btw.
I guess I cant get by the fact that I am not a big ND fan and I think the Browns wasted that pick on him...
Good luck with him though. I will be curious to see how he does for you. Let us know what scheme you use with him.Comment

Re: Brady Quinn
Where do you find "QB Tendency" and "Sense Pressure"? Are they found somewhere in the PS3 version of the game, only in the XBox version, hidden in-game and visible in the "roster editor" tool, or does this refer to the original HC and not HC09?
