Go back a few pages and you'll see what the issue is. Safe to say it is a game killing bug for career players and the few that have played this game early and have gotten into the PGA season are reporting problems. Even if its only an issue for some, that's still too many, it needs to be rectifed immediately.

I agree and if I knew it was a confirmed fix via a patch I would pick the game up anyhow in the morning. What I'm afraid of is that it never gets fixed and I am stuck with a great golf game that has an unplayable career mode! Which to many of us is pointless. The putting has me a little concerned also but I can live with that, though last year's putting engine seemed perfect and I hope they patch that back in as well.

does anyone notice that the legends dont use classic golf equipment when u play with them in tournaments and on online does anyone know if they use them in masters historic edition

They aren't supposed to be by design (EA devs). If you unlock them for any mode other than the era-based modes then they will be using modern equipment.

Well my Level 70 toon just missed my 3rd cut on the Web.Com Tour. Nothing fishy scoring wise happened this tourney. I would have never thought with this high a level golfer I would be struggling this hard but I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!! A sim challenge is there to be had without any silly House Rules imo.

Gonna try one more tourney before I call it a night and hopefully I don't encounter any scoring issues

Well finally made the cut +6 and cut line was +8 in my 4th tourney on the web.com tour. It was a grind but I'm in. So far so good with the scoring

That's great news! I'm praying this scoring glitch is a freak encounter and not as bad as it could be. I'm gonna pick up the historic edition and play all day at work (I work at a golf course in Columbus, Ohio and we got 6 inches of snow the last 24 hours so I have plenty of time to veg out the next few days) and try to recreate the bug. Hopefully I don't see it and if I do I'll have to live with it and play Legends of the Majors until it's patched (hopefully). The game is so good despite its few quirks I don't wanna pass it up and your last few posts with no scoring issues provide me with some hope. Please continue updating us with your progress and any scoring issues or more preferably the lack of! And thanks for all your input the last few days with the retail version!

I'd bet that 98 percent or more of game releases has some sort of issue with it. You just can't test load or other variables very well and things can pop up and usually do. I do admit these bugs are pretty glaring and I am sure that they have been bombarded with tech. tickets and have to rectify the main ones a.s.a.p. I really have a good feeling there will be a day one patch that will get to the most important problems.

I've had it pre-ordered for some time to and am sure that if there is any glaring issues as scoring and "glitchy" cameras it will be resolved asap, and if not there is still a ton of other gameplay options and online tourneys to keep me happy till it's done.

I'm going to pick it up this morning too, with the weather the way it is in Ohio it's the only golf I'll be able to play in the next week anyhow! Besides, the game is too good to pass up and the allure of the Historic Edition is worth the extra $10!

My wife and daughter kept saying "you'll buy it anyhow" the whole time I was complaining on the forums yesterday lol. I knew I would too, it just does too much right and the good outweighs the bad. I firmly believe with a little patch it will be the best TW game ever.

Though I am an old school PGA Tour game fan and huge fan of the Hot Shots Golf engine as well and the 3 click shot system, I think I played TW12 more than I have any other golf game and have actually grown to love the the swing stick. I usually pick games up I anticipate on release but due to poor and lackluster reviews I didn't pick up TW13 until a month ago. That being said, I think it was a very solid game as far as the changes to the swing mechanism and the putting. Career mode was really solid as well and though I can't comment on the other modes, I thought it deserved much better scores.

And after my rant on here, I put in a little more time with the Season Ticket edition and found putting is not as easy as I felt it was my previous two days with the game. I also thought the developers did a great job answering questions and addressing issues on the EA forums. That being said, have fun with the game today everyone, I know I will!
