Petition to Restore Player Photos

The lack of player photos due to being on a different team or in the minors is flat out embarrassing for the MLB the Show team. The mixture of real and fake faces makes the game look incomplete and ridiculous and must be changed. MLB the Show has given us great games for years now and this is a disappointment. Their answer for this is that the community asked for it but clearly by comments and bug reports ... very very few like it. This has to be restored for MLB 13 to get back to were it once was..... Or all generated, one or the other.

(Even though I titled it as a petition I picked all generated, personally can't stand the mix)

I actually love it. Used to hate trading for somebody or signing a free agent, and having to look at their old hat in the photo. It would make me not want to acquire real guys. Just my opinion.

I cant see how anyone would want to combine fake and real player photos ... if every player had a generated face then i would accept that but a mixture just doesnt make sense

They should at least give an option in the settings.

Think I heard if you pick fantasy draft to start a franchise but then back out of it right when it starts, all the players will have generated faces. Haven't tried it but if that's the case, I'll probably do that

I think the way to go is to go all player portraits and no more real pictures.

I agree considering that the generated faces will most likely look a lot better on the next gen console. But for right now the mixture of real and fake its awful to look at to me I'd rather have all the photos back than the weird mixture.

Like someone already mentioned there is a workaround for this. It's for all cyber faces though, but you won't get the mixture that you don't like.

I like it and have no issues with it, makes sense to me how and why it works, and I love that we not longer get the old team or MLB hats on players on new or different teams

I want real pictures, and we get them, if that player is supposed to go on that team at the time of release

I want the correct hats, we get that also, but with the SCEA model, which is fine..

No way. This is probably my favorite feature this year. Nothing ruins my franchise longevity more than having a team and facing teams with a cavalcade of different caps.

Unless they are able to do as Madden and NBA 2K where they are all in the same base jersey or have a face close up with no jersey color prevalent, I hope they go 100% cyber faces out of the box for the sake of it being uniform.

I hate the generated faces, they look fake and impersonal. Real photos with switchable hats are the way to go. I'd rather have a player with a real photo with a hat from a former team than all CG faces.
