Patch Did Not Fix Stuttering, also New Issues

Even after the patch has been downloaded I still experienced stuttering on about 5% of the pitches thrown by the CPU. There also seems to be new stuttering when I'm swinging the bat occasionally. Also, as I said in my earlier thread, the Swing/Pitch Info graphic is completely gone since the patch came out. Only positive I've seen is that the first pitch meatball bug has been fixed.

you prolly have Swing/Pitch Info graphic OFF under settings. I turn mine off. Just go through your setting options

I'm using an existing franchise and the option was on and now it doesnt show up

I've also seen more stuttering in different spots in the game than I did pre-patch. I even had a feeze that lasted roughly two SECONDS on a pitch...

Might be your ps3?

I had occasional stutter but it is buttery smooth now including cut scenes.

Yes, Russell said they would move the writing to the hard drive (which causes the stutter) to a different time in the game, however it is still during pitching and sometimes hitting now.

I never had any stutter problems in this game, a bit in 12, but never in 13, and post-patch virtually every single pitch stutters a tiny bit.

First off, 5% is about 4 to 5 pitches a game. I can deal with that. I can also deal with the swing/pitch info being off. As long as the regression and first pitch meatball bug are fixed, I am good.

What?

I have not downloaded the patch yet, but, if it is causing new issues that werent there before then no, I am not good. For example, if the swing/pitch info isnt there, how does that get by testing! I really dont understand that.
Again I havent downloaded the patch yet so maybe these are isolated cases, but if not then it is a huge oversight and makes me question their testing.

It's different depending on what PS3/hard drive you have, though. Some people are experiencing stuttering on almost every pitch post-patch.

Unfortunately I'm one of those people. I'm seriously thinking about deleting the patch because it almost makes the game unplayable. Would doing that screw anything up?

Now after one game my Swing/Pitch Info graphic is back, and I have not changed any settings since downloading the patch
