I picked up the game today for the PS3 and noticed the audio during the tutorial crackled as well when I went into legends mode. When I backed out of Legends mode to the main menu the crackle was still present. Have you guys had this problem? Thanks.

The cut line thing needs to be addressed ASAP or it really renders career mode unplayable, it's something that should have never made it into the final build and needs to be patched or confirmed as being put into a planned patch.

As far as green speed, I haven't had any issues with them being slow, they actually seemed pretty firm and fast at Oakmont. And the putting I thought was so easy got me a 1.75 putts per hole average in the same round, so that seems to be ok as well. I even blew a couple by the hole 5-10 feet which I thought impossible!

Now, if they just get the scoring and cut issues fixed for us career mode players I'll be golden! Love the Historic Edition also, easily worth the extra $10!

Remarked about this matter on the ea forums but was hoping to get a quick answer here from Tim or one of the other game changers.

I'm seeing the ball tracer line on my online opponent's shots even though I have it turned off in the game settings. What's worse is his ball doesn't even move. Is this the way it's supposed to be or some kind of bug? Also, the screen freezes like every other shot when you're spectating (no player animation, moving trees/water, nothing). Hopefully this can be fixed in a patch in addition to adding an option to remove the ball tracer line, thus making it possible to see your opponent's moving ball. The camera should also follow your opponent's ball the same as it does your own.

It is a known issue and is being reproduced and scheduled to be fixed in the upcoming patch.

FWIW I just shot 5 strokes under what the ended sim said the cut line was and was cut after the 2nd round.

Since there is no way to go back and review the final leader board after the tourney is over (that I know of) I really can't see what is going on.

I'm just complete annoyed, if someone sees an official post about this anywhere please let me know.

This reason alone is why I haven't bought this game. Ridiculous they let something like this slip. Hopefully its fixed in a couple weeks.

As a possible workaround for now (i'm not sure if it works but I would give it a try) set your golfer's tee time as last player on the course. You can change that in the settings menu.

Then when when your round ends hopefully it detects the final cut line because there seems to be an issue with whatever the cut line is when you finish your own round is the one that applies to your golfer and that is usually different from the cut line posted when the rest of the AI golfers finish. The cut line tends to rise the further the round progresses.

I know it sucks to have that last tee time all the time but that's the lesser of 2 evils until the patch comes.

EDIT: Now that I think about it just do this for the cut round (assuming it's possible to change the setting mid tourney), if you are playing 4 round tournaments, then just do it for the 2nd round. And this also applies to the winner being incorrectly declared. If you are near the top then set the tee off time as last golfer for the 4th round to avoid being declared the winner but finished 2 shots behind.

Anyone else had their game freeze? I am really loving the game so far, except for the 2 freezes that I got last night. Really frustrating.

Had a temporary freeze after a tee shot at Pebble in Play Now. Just the one time, and it was stuck for several seconds then finally 'unstuck' itself and I was able to continue. I can't recall an EA sports title that didn't freeze on me at least a few times.

Okay, I only had time for one round last night, Sim difficulty, with Zoom to Aim and Wind MPH enabled. Pebble Beach with my newbie CAG.

Two double bogies, a birdie, and a bogey on the front 9 as I figured things out and adjusted to the fade. Back nine no birdies, but only two bogies and five pars in a row to finish +6. I was quite pleased!

I bet we all will adjust to Sim and eventually be posting scores ranging from +4 to -6 (on great days). But I'd be surprised if playing it 'straight' with no boost pins that people blow up rounds in the 50's anymore, or at the max just a fluke round. Really liked how it played. Can't wait to do more the next few days!

Quick impressions since I haven't had the game long. The main feature I was looking for as a different option from past games was the quick tournament. I was highly disappointed to learn you can only play the final round instead of a full 4 round tourney. Oh well, been waiting since 04 for the PC, guess I'll wait longer. However, after playing a couple of rounds, I really am enjoying this feature. Because I play a lot of simple rounds due to time constraints, this really puts a little extra enjoyment in it.
Graphics seem pretty much the same to me and that's pretty good..
Ilike the presentation improvements this year. The intro's give you more of a real tournament feel and the screen splashes and comments between hole load times make it seem not so mundane.
Can't comment on any career mode issues cause with some of the mentioned problems, I'll wait till the patch to start a career.
One serious problem I did have was with game face, after going through the process, my face came out 2 toned and not looking so good. lol

I can not get the game to even start up. I create my player then. I am all ready to play. Trouble is once I hit start it just spins and spins. It does not get past the create a player page. No matter how long I wait. I bought both games and had the same trouble with both. Yes I mad sure all fills from the first game had been removed before I loaded the second game. It get stuck in the same spot after I create my player and am ready it does same thing it just keeps spinning and never loads

Anyone know why halfway though the web.com tour it starts me back? Was it because of my poor play in which I missed the first 3 cuts and was dead last in the 4th tourney???

I don't remember how many I played, and also failed to advance. But it told me I didn't qualify for the Web.com playoffs and I had to start the season again...This is going to be tough.

Divot/HANDS...pass on that we'd like button combos (or booster pins) to allow:

--throwing the club you are currently using
--breaking club over your knee, Tin Cup style


Maybe next year bring back the caddy so we can beat him when he's wrong.

Just some ideas...

Really like Sim mode...all it's missing is a means to express our frustration unprofessionally on the course, heheh.

No problem, hopefully that's what happened and it didn't glitch your season. But at the end it did show the same screen as if you were starting the season the first time, where it outlines the upcoming tournaments and what's needed to advance. You also need to hit A to accept or whatever.

I haven't even broken par yet on the Web.com Tour and fear I may never get out of it! Lol I've been getting better but either struggle make birdies and compete, or have 1 disaster hole that throws the round out the window.

Either way it's a great challenge and very rewarding when you do good. I did start from scratch also since I deleted my TW13 info last year and couldn't import my xp.
