Question is, why couldn't they strike a deal with the MiLB stakeholders to add the minor league players into the game? There's got to be an easy answer, but I've never seen it discussed.
Certainly would save a lot of time and effort by a lot of dudes this time of year.

They would have to strike a deal with each MiLB player, individually... or all-inclusively with the MiLB Player's Association;
Which doesn't exist.
