I bet those multi colored gloves are probably just Nike ones only. I hope the Adidas gear gets added also as well as Under Armour ones.

Not too optimistic if that's going to be the first big info they deliver. Keep in mind nothing is ever as good as they describe.Perhaps there's some clues here, though not much yet:
Two weeks ago, ESPN The Magazine debuted the first image of “Madden NFL 25,” showcasing Adrian Peterson’s wicked stiff-arm in a print-only screen.
It relates to Madden, but these two games are usually joined at the hip as far as gameplay goes (last year being a pretty big exception with IE and all)Comment

Re: First NCAA Football 14 Screenshot
i still don't understand how it wasn't in last year. from a gameplay perspective, they are the same game. the engine should be the same on both. they both have 11 players on each side, same basic positions, same basic formations/plays (more diversity in college, but mostly the same), basically the same rules (they don't work in either game anyway, so not like this mattered), etc.I mean it would be a disappointment for it not to be 2.0. If all they did was took Madden 13's IE and slapped it onto NCAA 14, then what did they spend the rest of the year doing? They have the advantage of seeing the feedback Madden 13 got and being able to work on an engine from scratch for a whole dev cycle.
dynasty/franchise is clearly different. but core gameplay should be virtually identical.Comment

The lighting look a little different, all I want is for them to fix the running animation and the camera workComment

Glad they updated the gloves but we're going on what, 5 straight years with the same cleat styles?Comment

Re: First NCAA Football 14 Screenshot
They didn't decide to put it into Madden until January, so, with NCAA releasing 7 weeks ahead of Madden, it was too late for NCAA to implement it.i still don't understand how it wasn't in last year. from a gameplay perspective, they are the same game. the engine should be the same on both. they both have 11 players on each side, same basic positions, same basic formations/plays (more diversity in college, but mostly the same), basically the same rules (they don't work in either game anyway, so not like this mattered), etc.

As others have suggested, I'm more interested in the tag line and what comes of it.Comment

Ill leave it at that.Looks like Year 2 of the Infinity physics engine will focus on running backs, including a bigger emphasis on cutting, and of course, smacking defenders in the mouth with fierce stiff-arms as you try to knock defenders like Von Miller out of your path. When asked for clarification, all an EA Sports representative would tell us is that the game will highlight a “run free ball carrier feature” that will offer “unprecedented ball-carrier control and precision.”Last edited by bellaballa; 04-02-2013, 06:04 PM.EASHL 360: OS Knights D/CComment

Re: First NCAA Football 14 Screenshot
Even if it is infinity engine 2.0, Madden 25 will still get 2.5 if not 3.0 simply because Madden comes out at a later date. Be like this every year, Madden will always get the more POLISHED version simply because that is their flagship football title and it comes out a month later.
Hell look at Madden 25 photo that came out today and NCAA 14's photo. Madden gets more human proportioned player models and NCAA gets overly thick and chubby player models. IF NCAA can just get Madden's player model, that would be a HUGE step forward for NCAA series.
Maybe next gen NCAA will.Comment

This is what the tag line means...
you can bet it's similar to that which is what Madden's 1st info was. You can bet they worked on the running backs but you can also bet that the QBs will still have AWFUL throwing animations and defense & special teams won't get nearly the amount of attention they should. And for the details people, you can bet eye black will still be missing and no new Nike cleats will be added.Looks like Year 2 of the Infinity physics engine will focus on running backs, including a bigger emphasis on cutting, and of course, smacking defenders in the mouth with fierce stiff-arms as you try to knock defenders like Von Miller out of your path. Big fan that game play needs to be advanced because that overall makes the game but one thing on my mind is why cant they take how crisp the jerseys look and even the pants and pads in madden look an import them into the game instead of the pants look painted on with no pads?Comment

agree pointless complaints that have nothing to do with the way the game is played. I like the artsy stuff too but not enough to constantly complain about it year after year... some people wait for news to see whats new and some wait to complain.Texas on my heart ; Dallas on my back.Comment

The USC defender looks different, maybe it's the lighting but that's not my issue. It was night games that looked terrible. I still 13 to this day but I hope things change for the better, I'm not buying day 1 this year until I see improvements but I'm being hopeful.Comment
