EA Sports plans to release NHL 13 trade deadline rosters late Friday.

Excellent. I can wait that long, however, I noticed in Roster update 11, certain players were found as duplicates in the Free Agent pool. For example, Droin was on the Mooseheads roster with a 60 something rating, but then also showed up in the Free Agents as a 74 rating. So when i started my GM Franchise, he was signed as a FA by another team, but also was one of the top prospects in the coming draft. Seth Jones was another duplicate, as was Connor McDavid. Will this be addressed before the next roster release?

What is the best roster to use for be a gm? EA's or the ultimate roster, or someone else's? I just got the game and would like to start a be a gm franchise but I've been looking for some good rosters(and waiting for the trade deadline to pass).

I noticed in the ultimate roster file some red wings prospects weren't in their system so I hesitated to start, but their roster was obviously more in depth than EA's and they have some of the real prospects for the draft. Any suggestions?

Did you create him and not reset the rosters before downloading the new one? If so, any player you created is put in the FA's.

No, I downloaded the newest EA roster (#11) and manually made the roster moves from March 22 until today, then started a new GM franchise. I didn't create any players.

Gooooood news!!!
I mean mine is nearly 85% finished BUT i ran into big Salary Cap issues and made a big mistake while doing these trades!
I didn't assigned the player rights(FIXED now) from the former teams, to the new team and....after i started a test-run all prospects/traded guys, like Joseph Morrow were still with the Pens....

BUT like i said really i want this upadte because of the Salary Cap problems with a lot teams i have now after i moved all the players!

Honestly for the guy looking for rosters, I would just use the EA one. Sure you could argue about ratings and all that and missing KHL guys, but it is way more in depth then any rosters on here.

After a quick stroll on nhl.com, Anders Lee and Andrej Sustr have played games. Dan Dekeyser is set to play tonight apparently, so he may not make the cut. Other than that, I didn't notice anyone else.
