I finally found a PS3 used copy for $8.99 at my local EB Games here in canada. Was $9.99 but used my edge card and saved a buck. I kept checking their site each day to see if one would come in and got lucky.

Nice! How are you liking it so far? I went ahead and picked it up knowing if I don't like it I have 7 days to get a refund. The game looks surprisingly good still and the presentation is great. I only played two games but one thing I noticed that bugged me is that if I dribble the ball with anyone other than my PG they lose the ball after any sort of contact. I'm wondering if there is a work around for that with the sliders.

Yeah I really like the game and the graphics and presentation is nice and clean looking. Ashame that EA just didn't continue with this engine improving on it for Live instead of scrapping it completely. I've just played one game so far and had a good time. As for the contact I have seen it a few times where I go to make a move and lose the ball. Not sure if their is a slider to tone it down haven't really looked yet. I am a casual player so their could be things that I am missing in regards to how things should play and feel. The more I play the more I'll get comfortable with it. Glad I bought the game and for the price I couldn't go wrong.

Yeah I couldn't believe it either. I like the game but I couldn't stomach the fact that I spent that much for it so I just return it. Maybe there will be a price drop on it soon since the tourney is over after tonight.

The reason it's so cheap used here in Canada is probably because it's not in demand as much as in the US. At EB Games here it's $9.99 used and $39.99 new. I am glad I came across a used copy because I wouldn't pay $40 myself.

Hell it's going for north of 70 bucks on Amazon. College Hoops 2K8 is selling for 30 bucks too. I have a PS3 copy, but wanted an XBOX copy because I still have rosters on it, but there is NO gamestop within 100 miles that has NCAA 10.

I paid $30 for it about a year ago. Outrageous but I wasn't going to pay the even more absurd amount people are asking for it online.
