Judging by the sticky thread for bug reporting being closed, I don't think there will be another patch. It's unfortunate but with the OSFM rosters, you can call up a prospect to challenge for the rookie of the year award. So it's not a total lost cause...

It's always been closed because of the new method of big reporting.

I played a full 9 inn game after downloading the last patch, keep in mind i only played 1 full game, i didn't see any stutter at all on my system in-game, played smooth.. however i am getting some slight pauses here and there in the menu music, but as long as the game plays smooth, i can live with that.

I don't believe this was the case because the Sticky itself is a link to the site where you file a bug report. It also explains that this is the new way of reporting them right before the link to the site...

That thread has been closed since it was started. So there were no comments in it. Because to report a bug, you have to go to the link in that thread. The link still works. You can still report bugs. RELAX lol

Ya I realized that after a reply from another poster. Thanks but I don't really need to be relaxed on the issue. I don't really care if there is another patch. I'm happy with what SCEA has done. I was reaching out to those dissapointed that a particular issue wasn't resolved. From reading posts from developers, I've got a hunch that there will not be another update. They are probably turning their attention to the PS4 platform...

Just Curious what was the early steal exploit. I just played with throw cancelling on and just stepped off any time someone stole early and picked them off with ease. I didn't really see any exploit with it, other than people being idiotic and running them selves out of innings.

i dont know what the early steal exploit it. but the throw canceling option has nothing to do with pitchers being able to cancel their chosen pitches.

however, i am curios as to what the early steal exploit was and how/what they did to correct/balance it. these patch notes seem kind of vague.

I am very frustrated by the recent patch. The pitch stutter I was experiencing so badly before the first patch came out is back with a vengeance for me. I have played both online and offline, and at least for me, it's worse than before.

Downloaded patch, played Dodgers at White Sox in exhibition. While throwing my warm up pitches I saw one hiccup, rest of the game was as smooth as could be.

As a user that had the pitch stutter issue prior to 1.18 (which 1.18 fixed), I dl'd the new patch and played an RttS game. I did not have an stutter issues while pitching, I even switched to a generic stretch pitch (as I noticed it while using those pitch styles more so) and it was as smooth as butter. This is using a "Hefty" 60GB PS3 with a 320GB HD upgrade installed and 10GB game install. Now hopefully the next Vita patch will resolve the pitch stutter...fingers crossed...

I was having major freezing issues before the patch, and even though it did not mention anything about franchise freezes I have played 3 games without a freeze. So far I am happy.

For the people wanting to download the patch but afraid of pitch stutter. Copy your save data to a flashdrive adn then install the patch. if its brings it back. Then delete it and re copy the save data from the flash drive to the PS3. That way you can still have the second patch. But i also believe HustlinOwl (hope thats right) uploaded the last patch to a filesharing site. Might be able to find it in the last patches thread.
