Rangers Uniforms

So far this season the Rangers have worn their white jersey with red helmets and red accessories in all but maybe two games while at home. If this trend continues is their a way to have that set patched in the game?

If those arent already in the game then i doubt they will be put in. They have to follow the style guide and if those unis arent in it they wont show up in the game till they are.

I never thought I would have such a hang up over uniforms but it almost sucks the fun out of the game. LOL
I hope next year they add a Uniform Editor outside of Diamond Dynasty and a Uniform Vault as well.

Totally hear you buddy. There are a LOT of uniform errors and not ALL of them are due to the Style Guide.

The only thing that would need to be added is the undershirts. The rest of that combination is easily doable.

It's just the wording. For example NBA2k, FIFA, NCAA and Pro Evo update kits, Courts etc regularly.

Not exactly patches but updates all the same. Would be nice if The show could update errors/ new uniforms which of course weren't bound by that fateful style guide.

The same argument is brought up every year.


"This team's socks are wrong" or "This team has a new jersey"

I have never seen them once "fix" any part of a uniform other than the Braves BP hats this year, and I think thats because they were forced to.
Understandably this is a major pet peeve to some and there are others that couldnt care less.

If its not a bug that interferes with or involves the actual gameplay coding, they are not likely to change it.

Your best bet, and I mean this in all seriousness, if you think a team's uniform is incorrect, complain to the team directly, they are the only ones that can "make" SCEA change.

However, Good luck with that!

I know the Indians Alternate Home Cream Uniform has the wrong socks and undershirts. They should be red like the hat. They do look better in real life with the red but I personally don't like those uniforms. I'd much rather wear the home white or the Blue Alternate Road jersey like they do at home (on Tuesdays in years past).

I know it comes up every year and I know they never 'fix' things like this but not ALL of the errors are due to the style guide. Some are just down to bad artwork.

I understand that some jerseys don't make it in due to limited slots etc.

The game is so good gameplay wise already that this is one area I expect big improvement on PS4.

I just want authenticity.

Don't even get me started on the Cubs Road Alternate Jerseys again...that COULDN'T have been the style guide because they have NEVER worn and never will wear uniforms like that...

Uniform inaccuracies are the biggest problem with The Show.

I get the style guide cop out, but if you get 1 thing right graphically it should be uniforms. It is the thing we see and stare at the most in this game and there are only 30 teams ML teams, so yeah they should take the time to makes sure at the very least that all home, away and alt sets are correct (I'll allow more room for error for throwbacks).

- Nationals wear blue socks on road when they should be red
- Rockies black vest sleeves are purple when they should be black
- Rockies wear black helmet when it should be purple
- Orioles home helmet is black when should have front white panel
- Cubs alternates are wrong
- Indians socks are wrong
- Now the Rangers

I know there are more, too.

I just don't like how the SCEA team is stubborn in regards to not fixing these obvious mistakes. Some of these are just simple color changes, but they just throw their hands in the air and walk away from fixing these graphical errors.

and before someone jumps on us for wanting these things fixed, put yourself in our shoes and imagine how maddening it would be playing with your team and they are wearing the wrong stuff.

Sure, a part of the blame is style guide... but I can't help but think the laziness attached to not willing to fix it is the same laziness attached to why the uniforms are wrong in the first place

The other game got the uniforms right this year... is MLB handing you a botched style guide on purpose and giving them the keys to the uniform city?

lol youre calling the devs lazy? okay.... They can only do what MLB tells them to do. They gotta use the style guide. Teams dont necessarily follow the guide either.

Does it suck? Yeah but SCEA does what they can and they are anything but lazy.
