He's hitting 55% of his free throws. There are only 2 centers shooting worse, DeAndre Jordan and Dwight. So his ft rating should be around 55, he's a horrible ft shooter.
The problem with Wall having such a high pass rating is that it kinda messes up any scaling idea for PG attributes. If you give Wall a 94, you would pretty much have to max out Calderon/Vasquez/Rondo/Paul/Holiday.
Now Wall is a very good passer, but his true strength is to capitalize on defenses having to double him on drives leading to open shots. So he's a really good passer in the context of his aggressive ball dominating game, but as a pure passer, he's a tier below the top PGs like Paul and Calderon at least to me.
My passing tiers look something like this:
>95 Paul,Calderon,Rondo,Nash
90-95 Rubio,Holiday,Vasquez,Lebron
85-90 Wall,Dragic,Nelson,Teague
80-85 Parker,Westbrook,Jennings,Lillard,Curry
And so on...the main point being that athletic PGs like Wall and Westbrook are not neccessarily better pure passers than say Dragic and Nelson, even though they might average something like 1 more assist per game.
I think it's much closer than most people think, there are many good to great passers in the league, some of them simply don't have the athleticism or offensive arsenal to be more than a very good playmaker.
On a different note, can a Nets fan explain to me why DWill is not even averaging 8 assists per game? Haven't seen many BKN games lately, did he have injury problems or what's going on with him?
