Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays
Some early results:
Set Up Dribble
Ran a test of 91 Pistons v Bulls.
All Bulls perimeter players had:
Straight Dribble: 0
Size Up:0
Hesitation:100
All Pistons perimeter players had:
Straight Dribble: 0
Size Up:100
Hesitation:0
No notice-able change vs all players having 100,0,0, which I had before.
2nd Test
91 Lakers @ Bulls
All Bulls perimeter players had:
Straight Dribble: 0
Size Up:0
Hesitation:0
All Lakers perimeter players had:
Straight Dribble:100
Size Up:100
Hesitation:100
Still no noticeable change from other settings.
This is leading me to think that since I have all the Dribble Moves at 0 except simple drive at 100, the type of dribble move that is performed is tied to these tendencies.
For example, I not see many(if any) hesitation crossovers, just regular crossovers that are obviously hard coded into the game.
That should be expected with the Hesitation and Hesitation Crossover tendencies are set to zero(or at least the Hes. Cross is at 0).
Next will be:
One team with Hesitation at 100+Hes. Cross 100.
The other will be Hesitation 0+Hes. Cross 100.
This should determine if my theory of the Set-Up Dribble being tied to the Dribble Moves.
Also a quick video from the Lakers/Bulls test, a good example of a "win" by the offense, and a "win" by the defense. In case anyone was wondering what is meant when we(or at least I say) "win" in reference to these situations.
Jordan beats Scott off the dribble by dipping shoulder once he gets a step.
Next trip, Jordan tries the same thing, Scott cuts him off, and the D collaspes forcing Jordan to back out and pass off to a teammate.
Jordan: Handle - 99
Scott: On Ball D - 70
