The New York Knicks will open up the 2003 preseason against rookie Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets. Coach Lenny Wilkins will use the preseason as a measuring stick, as he is still not certain in his rotation. In a statement released by the press, he stated that: "We had a solid training camp, but we are still trying to gel on the offensive end of the floor. We know that the offense will primarily run through Marbury and Houston, but everything else is still up in the air."
