    OSFM prospects you've been enjoying.

Kinda like the while we wait thread I started but now they have been released.

Which newly acquired prospect are you tearing it up with in franchise??

Which top prospect got the call early??

Feel free to post pictures of some stats or some in game pic of a nice swing or play in the field. If he's pitcher, what's he looking like on the bump??

This should be fun to see some prospects in different uni's and some of their stats.

Hopefully we can get a lot of us participating!

I hit about .285 with Billy Hamilton and stole over 50 bases with him in my 1st year of Franchise w/ Reds. I also have a Fantasy Draft franchise where I started Jurckson Profar and Jackie Bradley the 1st year. Both ended up over 80 by the end of the year.

i have a slightly off topic question that nobody seems to have the answer to.

Why doesnt SCEA use fake names with real stats for top prospects. For example...

Guy Suarez Yankee AA catcher with A potential

Didn't NCAA sue EA for having any kind of player likeness? I'm assuming the MiLB would do the same thing...

No I think one dude sued EA and the NCAA for his player likeness being used. i think he played QB at Az st, but I could be wrong.

But yea, they probably want to avoid possible lawsuits for making money off of player likenesses. Even if said likeness is altered enough to throw the scent off.

so what if they did not use likeness or similar names at all...but JUST ratings.

Joe Jack OF AAA Reds 100Speed rating
Billy Bod C AA Yanks A potential etc.

Make them look NOTHING like their actual self...but we could edit them

That wouldn't be any more helpful IMO, info and ratings are the two easiest aspects of the OSFM project.

Re: OSFM prospects you've been enjoying.

I don't normally play minor league games but I've already pitched a few innings
in several of Jose Fernandez Double-A games, he's gonna be nasty if I develop
                  him right.

I screwed up & brought up 3b Zack Cox too early but he wasn't ready so I sent him back down (Wasted option).
But I messed up & got rid of Placido Polanco hopin' Cox was ready. To make matters worse Polanco is hittin' .318 IRL, I refuse to see how he's doing in my universe but he's 37 so...
I have srsly considered seein' if I can get Wil Myers away from the Tampa organization for Ozuna & Yelich, but that'd be way overpayin' & I can't pull
that trigger. Plus I really think Ozuna's gonna bust out big when I call him up.

                    Hamilton.
                    (well...not yet...)
But if the Reds are in contention and haven't called him up to the MLB level....I will try and pry him from the Reds.
I just love his speed(from last year).

Matt Barnes. Man, I don't know what it is, but I always pitch a great game with him, same thing last year in 12 The Show, I can't wait until he's up in real life.

All of my Mets!!! D'Arnaud, Wheeler, Syndergaard, Den Decker, Flores, Tovar, Ynoa, Havens....

As for the other topic going around in this post....I believe(and I COULD be wrong)that when EA was still making MVP they did something similar to that....They had the top 100 prospects in the game(with correct hgt/wgt, age, b/t, etc and raitings)and all you had to do was change their name(and face if you desired)
                        Let's Go Mets!!!

Dominated early on with Bryan Mitchell ( AA SP/NYY), Jose Ramirez & Matt Wisler. Love hitting with Cowart, Sano and Taveras.

On the opposite side, can't pitch with Gerrit Cole or Lucas Giolito.

That being said, Jose Fernandez and Archie Bradley are by far my two favorite to play with.

Wil Myers has been awesome so far in my Rays franchise.

He's coming off a 2014 for me in which he hit .280 with 33 homers and 96 RBI.

Can't wait to trade for him in my franchise. He's up at the top of my pitching prospects I wanna make a run at.

If you get a chance I'd love to see some game screen shots.
