    Re: WWE 2K14

We're hopeful because of the "as many platforms as possible" comment.

I hope they retain Universe mode. Of course would love to see 2K use their great presentation in this as well.

hopefully they at the very least bring back the 2 block buttons. reversing everything with 1 button is too easy. once you see they're arms extending in the grapple press rt/r2 and the reversal is automatic. i had alot more hopes to add but why bother. as long as yukes is around the AI will be lacking in single player. id never play this online. how many running grapples and bulldogs can a man take. i have never come across anyone that can work a proper match online, never.

i have only seen 1 guy on youtube working real matches with some japanese caws i believe. will post link if i can find it. if the game played out this way id buy it easily. until then i just downloaded a save file from fatal arms for koc 2. i have choked out gary albrite with taz, have super kicked hase with shawn michaels only to have him no sell it and immediately hit me
with a uranage and pin me. finally kawada my champion has pasted jun akiyama, kurt angle and goldberg in his last 3 matches. not to mention knocking kurt and goldberg unconcious (critical) with the ghetto blaster.

Ok so I was watching the WWE Business Summit filmed on Mania weekend. They talked a little about WWE 2K14 and revealed the main theme of the game. This year they are doing something similar to Attitude Era Mode but focusing on 30 years of WrestleMania.

So Legends of Wrestlemania 2K14? I guess I can live with that. Don't really see how they're going to pull that off with Hulk Hogan not being a part of things. If you're going to focus on Wrestlemania's history, I think all the main events should be well represented and not having at least ten of them represented in the game would be kind of a punch in the gut to the premise. IMO anyway.

Typically the cutoff date has been closer to Summerslam. The Shield has been around more than long enough to be in the game. However who knows what kind of schedule their working on with the game thanks to the license change.

That's my fear, I feel like they haven't been working on it at all for that time span that they were being bought out.

Doesn't wwe have hogan on a legends contract? This should enable them to put him in the game..

Or has an announcement been made saying he won't be involved?

I can't say for sure if he is or isn't, but with his involvement with TNA, I can't see them signing off on putting him in a game as long as he's associated with them.

I don't really follow wrestling but was Hogan in that WWE All Stars game a few years back? Wasn't he with TNA when that game came out?

They either paid TNA, or TNA is unable to do anything because this Hogan was from the 80s/early 90s.

I thought I read at the time of All Stars' release that Hogan's TNA contract still allows him to license his name out for other projects.

Can't remember where I read it (let alone if it was even true), but something like that might be possible here.

I think his inclusion was more a THQ move than WWE. WWE has final say on the rosters but I think THQ really wanted Hogan in the game and WWE just went with it.

I think if they ok it with TNA they can get whoever so that goes for guys like Angle and Hardy. But if they do go through with this plan with Mania in the game than they really need Hogan cos he was a huge part of it.
