Just started my third season as a closer for the Marlins. Played first full season in AA, second full season in AAA and am now the Marlins setup guy. Have not been traded once, but my team has done several other deals not involving my RTTS character.

Was drafted by the Giants, Got called up to AAA just before the all-star break, then a week later I was traded to the friggen white sox. I don't hate them but ever RTTS I play its seems I end up on the White Sox.

I was traded off the Reds but I expected it because at the time they were first in the entire league. They traded me, a LF, and a pticher named Bailey to the Twins for Carl Pavano. The trade made sense because the Twins have a really bad pool of players in LF. The only thing that didn't make sense is that Pavano was 5-9 at the time and Bailey was 11-3.

I can one up that one.

I'm a Rangers fan. In MLB 11 I started in the Rangers farm system. Got traded to the Cardinals of all teams. Made it to the Majors and won the World Series against the Rangers!!!! This was months before the actual World Series of course. SUCKED!!!

I ended up playing with the Cardinals until I could become a free agent and then signed with the Rangers.

The only World Series I ever won in last years RTTS was that first one against the Rangers.

Last year I lost in 5 games NL championship with the mets. They traded for fielder so we beasts that season. Next year they get rid of wright and fielder so my team went from first to worse lol this year I swear the game has an obsession with the white sox. Dosnt matter what pos you are even if there very deep(SS) they'll trade for you anyway it's quite annoying

Here's a thought...We all know when we request a trade 99% of the time they shoot it down.

How about anytime your playing and you get traded don't save it. Go back to the last saved point and request a trade. They would then shoot you down and hopefully you won't be traded.

I'm busy moving and renovating my new house so I haven't had a chance to play more than 4 innings of an exhibition game (love pulse pitching), but when I get on that is what I'm going to try.

In both mine, my gf's, and my friend's RttS, the White Sox have an entirely new team after the first season. Literally no real White Sox are still there. It's annoyingly stupid.

Oh wow lol that's horrible! And horrible news for my guy unless I can get traded. 4/5 of the players I made were traded the the white sox. Why god why?

If only it was that easy lol my game saved the day before I get traded and every time I reload I ask for a trade an they say oh no way it would hurt our ball club to much then the very next day bam traded for a closing pitcher. Iv even tried asked for a position change to no avail. Fml

Never thought I'd be saying this but I absolutely cannot seem to be traded this year! I am currently running two different RTTS's and had started another one before quitting and I have yet to be traded in any of them. In one I am a RF for the Red Sox in which they traded away Victorino to bring me up in June of 2013 so I figured they wouldn't be trading me. But in the other I'm the CP for the Pirates and they demoted Grilli to AAA and his overall rating is much better than mine. I have begged and pleaded for a trade but as of 2015 still no luck. Both years before the trade deadline the GM said they were looking for a suitable trade deal but haven't been able to find one yet. The Pirates are terrible in my RTTS, but looks like I'm stuck there until my 6 years of service time are up.

Saw this thread got bumped and thought I'd tell you guys a way to beat being traded. Once you get traded, back out and reload the file, then manually injure yourself for 2-5 days. It's worked so far with my player.

Got 2 RTTS's going, 1 with a pitcher for the indians and 1 for a 3B for the red sox. Both are in the Majors and i have asked to be traded over a dozen times with my pitcher with no luck. Never asked for my 3B and still have not been traded.

In my previous years experiences i rarely was ever traded unless i had a HUGE contract and was around 36-40 years old.

I created a closer and chose the Yankees who had poor CP depth. I was in AA for one year at the end of that year Mariano Rivera retired, in the off season I was offered a AAA contract. During ST I pitched so well (Didn't give up a single run, had 18+ saves), I actually made the MLB team as a midde reliever. I eventually worked my way up to closer in less than half the season. I never gave up a run and had over 20 saves that year.

Next year I get a contract fro the MLB team. That year I did not get traded. I never gave up a run and ended up with 40 saves that year. I am in my second full year (I have a 4 year contract) in the majors and my HOF Potential is about 1/3rd full and my overall is 95, Yankees do not dare trade me since no one else is nearly as good as I am.

I've been traded once and that's it. But I demanded the trade. Went from White Sox to Mariners and now I can't get traded. Been with them all 4 years, well half of the first season and that's it.
