ESPN Playbook: NCAA 14 Presentation Preview

“Oh … oh-oh-oh-oh, oh, oh!”The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” is the crowd chant of college football, so it’s no surprise you’ll hear the virtual fans singing along when EA Sports’ “NCAA Football 14” hits stores on July 9 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3).

It's interesting that this article didn't even mention the halftime show. It makes you wonder how big/good it is if an article focused on presentation either "forgot" about it or simply didn't think it was good enough to mention.

As someone that mashes through every cut scene I'm really liking all the talk about speed those up so I can get back to the game.

Never realized that. They did go into more detail on the other aspects than what's been released so far though.

I expect the halftime show to be pretty generic and repetitive (especially since they brought in Pollack to do it). Thus why the lack of ESPN coverage on it. However, it is an improvement from the past, and the updated cut scenes sound intriguing.

Hate to say it but thank you EA, you finally understand how boring the long played out intros got.

Great news to hear it will be sped up. Deff excited.

True, but that's what most people identify with. Most readers probably wouldn't even know what song they were talking about if they said "Kernkraft 400"

I like the sound of everything because great immersion in a game through presentation can mask some gameplay flaws (sometimes). I hope when he says he didn't hear a single crowd not sing "Seven Nation Army" or "Zombie Nation" doesn't mean it will be heard in every single game, multiple times in a game. That would be a tad annoying.

NONE OF THIS WILL MATTER IF THE GAMEPLAY STILL BLOWS.

so hopefully this new running and physics system is a game-changer bc this presentation stuff sounds great...except still no new cleats...CMON EA!!
