That's what I'm hoping for. Last year when they showed off the IE, it showed off a bunch of stuff that was extremely rare and that hardly ever happened. However, big hits are something easily recreated and I'm willing to bet that the higher difficulty that you play on, the more frequent these hit's will be from the CPU defense.

The hit-stick just needs to go all together. Make the hit power rating matter, and base the power of any given hit on the players attributes and the momentum of him and the opposing player. I would rather see no big hits at all than too many.

Bro its not even being implemented right. in that clip the guy caught the ball and turns around takes a half a step and has contact with the defender. the defender then proceeds to fly into the air backwards like he has just been hit by a steaming locomotive. the reciever or te was not in a full sprint or anything he had just turned around. what about that play looks "physically" correct to you?

But again though, you look at most of those hits and the defender is going through the player, wrapping up and going to the ground with them. Not just stoning them while they're still standing up. It would look a lot better if they at the very least went to the ground with the guy they're hitting. Even better if they wrapped them up when they hit them.

Dont get me wrong there are a lot of good looking tackles in those clips BUT at the 00:55 second mark..someone needs to explain THAT to me as to how its even humanly possible.

that's sort of valid. ive certainly seen hits though where the defender didn't wrap up. i think the biggest issue w/ this video is that the running mechanics are still weird. that to me, if anything, is the most glaring issue (the sliding and stride still looks mechanic and unreal).

lol, maybe me football eye is not as keen as your guys or my standards are just lower but that play looks good to me.

What did you guys think of the improved pursuit angles in the video or were there any, in your opinion? It seems to me last year the high tackle by Polamalu in the video, would have been a "blow by" in M13, I hated that. To clarify, so there are no misunderstandings, I am not hating on your opinions of the video or trying to call anyone out, I am just curious what you guys thought about those things.

The sack looked bad to me because of how the runner contorts out of the way. It just looks bad. I like the idea of getting a sack in an indirect manner, but the way it plays out just doesn't look realistic. The rb should've fallen into the quarterback instead of being pushed to the side and having his body contort and still keep balance.

The Polamalu play looked good. Definitely liked how that one looked. The low tackles also look good. The Packers player trucking the Giants player looked horrid. He had no momentum to make a hit like that after catching the ball. It was like the defender was trying to take a charge in basketball.

Alot of the tackles looked bad to me just because of how they took place. I could see if some of these were blind side hits, but it looks like some of them are running full speed into defenders and getting just blown up. It reminds me of wrestling. The best one was the buccaneers hit because it was like he caught the runner off guard and the way the hit played out looked pretty realistic.

Madden 25 so what does that mean?

25 years of losing their way. Stumbling around trying to listen to what a casual fan wants instead of what is really in football. There was a year when playing defense was fun. Since then it has become an all offensive game.

Let's hear about how they are actually adding in real penalties. How about seeing pass interference being called against the CPU during a game. When will weather actually play a factor? Every year they talk about it being a sim. How is Madden Football a sim just curious? Each year I buy the game and by game three I am so bored out of my mind as it feels like I have been playing the SAME GAME for 25 years where nothing works properly.

Go back again and count how many times they guy came down with his arms wrapped around the guy. Far outweigh by how many times he didn't.

Those NFL players need to fix their tackling form and makes sure they always have their arms wrapped around the guy when they come down with him
                              ...wait what?

You would think with NFL and all the safety issues and teaching kids proper form tackling they wouldn't have the over the top trucking. I just hope it doesn't happen on every play.
