Guess this mode isn't for you.

What do you mean "isn't for me"? It isn't for anyone with these kinds of errors and the hoops you have to go through to supposedly make stuff work, which I haven't seen work anyways even with the latest roster update loaded, which has Jackie Bradley Jr. in it.

This mode was advertised as a way to play every game exactly as they happened at any point in the season. It's been almost a month and "TBD" is still the Red Sox left fielder for the first week of the season.

What's even dumber is that Jose Valverde is in the 4/22 roster as a free agent. So theoretically, the game should see on MLB's roster feed that Valverde is on the Tigers and place him on the roster. Even if Valverde wasn't there, there's no reason Brian Wilson should be on the Tigers.

I'm not sure if you were trying to be a smartass or not, but this mode has a lot more problems than simply being "not for me".

Let's face facts and admit that, despite how personally hyped I was for this feature, this mode probably should have been held off until MLB 14.

Your complaints are mostly valid. It's obvious this mode doesn't meet your requirments, so I guess this year it's not for you.

I've actually had some fun with it, but I really don't sweat the little stuff in this kind of mode.

That would be incredibly stupid if that's the case. I shouldn't have to keep all the rosters on my hard drive and load one for the week I want to play. This mode was advertised as pulling all the data from the servers so if the player is in the roster I have loaded, it should work. Horrible design if that's true, although I doubt it is.

I just played tonight's Braves @ Tigers game on The Show Live with the 4/22 rosters loaded and Brian Wilson was in the Tigers bullpen.

You didn't load the roster before you played. I played that game, and the rosters were correct.

Ya, this mode had lots of hype into it but sadly isn't delivering like everyone expected. On plus side, at least we know SCEA will look to improve this mode next year, unlike if this were EA Sports who'd probably make it worse in the following year.

To me it's another SCEA fail after Diamond Dynasty. They should have wait or spend the cycles on something else .

You didn't load the roster before you played. I played that game, and the rosters were correct.

I never said you were lying, or insinuated that you were. And honestly, it doesn't matter to me. Your displeasure in no way affects my enjoyment of the game/mode.

I said that because, I know you can load a roster, but if you don't go directly into TS Live, the rosters sometimes revert to default.

So what are the top issues people are having with the mode outside of not making sure you have the most current roster loaded?

The CPU changing the line up in the first inning on defense, because better defensive players are on the bench. Vita version.

If you edit that players position on the online roster, then it should work, this is what I did for Carlos Maldonado, when he got taken out of the game in the top of the 1st

The latest server side maintenance cleaned up this mode some more (records, special events, lineups), as long as you load the current live roster. Of course, newly called-up minor leaguers still throw it for a loop.

The latest server side maintenance cleaned up this mode some more (records, special events, lineups), as long as you load the current live roster. Of course, newly called-up minor leaguers still throw it for a loop.

If you're playing the current days game, what do you enjoy more..... playing the game BEFORE the real game has started (kinda like a preview to the real thing (especially at the start of a series), or do you enjoy it more AFTER the real game has been played?

Since we can't edit lineups, I prefer to wait until after the official game is over.

One thing I saw the other day was for the Rangers/Astros game while playing, there was a "TBD" for the a few positions.

I thought that was strange. And this was AFTER the real life game had already been played.
