Welcome to the thread for my "So You're Saying There's A Chance Roster".
Every team on this roster will be a team that did NOT win a championship. Also it will mostly (possibly entirely) consist of teams with 1 superstar or legend or HOF surrounded by role players. These will be teams that actually existed and the star player will be in their prime.

The BETA is now available on 2K Share, so here are a few notes:

First I want to thank all of the people who uploaded CAPs to 2K Share, this project would've been impossible without you. I want to thank the entire OS Community but specifically I want to thank RayRay34 whose historic rosters inspired me to make my own roster. I also want to thank MavsManiac4Life because it was my failure on the 2007-08 base that inspired me to push through and complete this project. I'm still upset that I couldn't get that to work, but finishing this BETA helps a lot.

All of the work was done through the Xbox 360 and my base for this roster was the launch day roster. What this means is that color ways are default. I plan to do an overhaul through RED MC to correct this. Also I will update arenas and put in missing teams once I do my work through RED MC. I did a lot of research for this project. I googled images and watched a lot of youtube videos pertaining to players from the teams that are on this roster. What this means is I will not be taking requests to change accessories due to the extended research I did. My suggestion is to change what you don't like. Same goes for shot forms and I want to add that I do not have the time or patience to edit shoes. If someone wants to take the time to do that then by all means go ahead.

Also the teams are in default NBA 2k13 order. Meaning that 84-85 Pistons are in the 88-89 Pistons slot, while 99-00 Pistons can be found in current Pistons slot. The teams I created should be obvious, I did NOT use Create A Team. Ignore the teams that are not on the BETA Team List. They are not intended for this roster and will be removed once I get RED MC.

I used basketball reference and my own personal knowledge for ratings. LOOK PAST OVERALL RATING. I used per 36 minute averages for players who played less than 36 minutes, I did a lot of work with tendencies to try to get players to play like themselves. I also used basketball reference for rotations along with my personal knowledge. Playbooks are NOT edited.

Thanks for the support and enjoy this BETA. I will update you once I buy RED MC and start working on the final version. I have a lot of personal things to deal with so it might be a few weeks or so before I can start the final RED MC version of this roster. Thank you.

In the meantime make requests that you want and I will get back to you accordingly. I have put a poll in regards to which Indiana Pacers team you all want to see. After that poll closes I will make one for a second Knicks team.

No classic Supersonics teams? They had some great teams almost go into the finals and win it. As well as that team before Kevin Durant came into the league. Just saying.

Neither the Thunder, Grizzlies, or Warriors are going to win the championship in my opinion (although it would be awesome if one of those teams did). Also in the case of the Grizzlies and Thunder there weren't too many options under my parameters. The key to the Thunder is NO Westbrook, while the Grizzlies do not have anyone I would consider a superstar and I don't care much for the Pau Gasol teams. Ultimately I just want to see how those three teams stack up against the other teams I plan to make.

Sorry I do plan to use a Sonics team, I'll edit my posts. I want to use a pre 1995-96 Sonics team. Once I buy RED MC I'll see what I can do in terms of jerseys and arenas.

1) Is there a particular reason for this Raptors team? If it's because of T-Mac he is on the 99-00 team that lost in Rd 1 vs NY so I could use them instead of 2000-01 if you want. 98-99 they missed the playoffs so I don't really want to use that team.
2) 1997-98 Pistons missed the playoffs, so unless you provide me with a compelling reason I won't use them.
3) I'll think about 96 Mavs because I think they would be fun to play with, but they only 26 games so it's hard to justify them being on this roster.
4) With the Clippers RayRay34 already has the young guns Clippers of the early 2000s on his rosters so I want to go outside the box and use 90's Clippers.
5) This team interests me and I might use them instead of 93-94 Nuggets.

For future reference give some specifics as to why you want a particular team on the roster (particularly if they were a bad team *less than .500 win % or missed the playoffs*).

how about for the heat use 2010 the year before the big 3 where they lost in 5 to boston and started trending towards the lotto??
