NBA 2K14 Release Date Set For October 1st, Looks To Be Headed to Next-Gen
Take-Two Interactive has posted the release date for NBA 2K14, as well as a list of games headed to next-gen. NBA 2K14 will be released on October 1st and by all indications, it looks like it will also be headed next-gen systems.
Can't wait to get my hands on this game on next gen. If nothing else the graphics must at least look better. I love the current version already so as long as they continue to get better every year i'll be happy.
I agree with Vita, but with PS4 you could remote to Vita. I hope it looks like those photo realistic mods, I hope Legends are still in, because if not it may seem water downed for its first shot at next gen

Wonder if there will be any differences between next and current gen versions apart from graphics?
Man I hope they do something completely different between the two systems. I would think with all the power of the newer consoles, they would take full advantage of it and make two totally different experiences.

2k6 could very well be a hint of things to come, back in the day when the 360 came out, we got it on what was then a next gen console ...
Unlike the competition it wasnt a watered down or barebones version, it was rather a visual upgrade with all past gen modes and features ... having had both versions, it was a clear upgrade and it was the game that initiated 2ks dominance through the current gen consoles entire life cycle ... 2k set a great standard for a consoles launch game ...
Here is to hope for 2k surpassing its next gen launch standards, by building 2k14 based on the amazing processing power and ram capabilities of the new gen ... also considering the consoles built in features (PS4 confirmed so far, but probably 720 also) that allows for multiple programs (real time physics, ilumination, AI, etc) to be run all at once, without having any graphical/ framerate/loading downgrade/slowdown ...
