2013 Eastern Conference Finals: Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers

Post fair predictions, even though no one except Heat fans want the Heat to advance.

I will update the scores of the games after each one. Home team will be in CAPS, winner will be in bold.

    (1) Miami Heat vs (3) Indiana Pacers (MIA Wins 4-3)
All Games at 8:30 EST on TNT:
    Game 1: 5/22 MIAMI 103, Indiana 102
    Game 2: 5/24 Indiana 97, MIAMI 93
    Game 3: 5/26 Miami 114, INDIANA 96
    Game 4: 5/28 INDIANA 99, Miami 92
    Game 5: 5/30 MIAMI 90, Indiana 79
    Game 6: 6/1 INDIANA 91, Miami 77
    Game 7: 6/3 MIAMI 99, Indiana 76

    Let's play some basketball!

NBA teams are lucky how much time they get between series. In NHL, teams had like 2 or so days at most to rest till next series.

I'd be cool if finals were Grizzlies-Pacers just so we could have new face as NBA champs. Last 17 years we've only had 7 diff teams win it!

Last time NBA finals didn't feature Miami,LA,San Antonio,Boston,Chicago....

Rockets 94-95 finals games vs Knicks and Magic

So sorta hoping for Pacers-Grizzles for that reason alone. Though starpower wise Heat-Spurs would prob be best.

This should be a very great series! Small ball vs Big ball.

League wont allow the pacers to win(a potential spurs/pacers final would kill whatever soul Stern has left).

          Heat in 6

Stern won't let them win because this is his last Finals. He wants Timmy to go up against LeBron.

Which is exactly what's wrong with NBA in general. NBA(media, fans, league) won't accept a finals of matchup like Pacers vs Grizzlies.

What's the point of having like 20 other teams in the league if the NBA only cares about 10 or so teams?

NHL for example has had 12 diff teams in 13 years win the finals. MLB has had 8 in 12 years, NFL has had 10 in last 15 years. So NBAs with 7 in 17 seems bad compared to all of this.

Clearly my post was took the wrong way. I honestly don't care who comes out of the east and whoever comes out would have earned it .im just stating what everyone will think if the the calls heavily go the heats way in the series.

                      Stern wants Duncan to win?

Could've fooled me.... the biggest and best big man right along with Shaq and he completely dropped the ball on this guy on purpose.

Biggest variable in this series is Dwayne Wade's health...

Also, just imagine if the Pacers had a healthy Danny Granger too.

Pacers are the first team since Utah in '94 to make a Conference Final without a player drafted in the top 5.

Miami in 6. LeBron and our shooters will be too much for Indy's defense.

I think Bosh is going to be a pretty important player here.
