The uniforms are pre-determined but there was a very good reason for doing so. I don't want to give away all of the surprises, but let's just say that a lot of care and thought went into EACH city and team possibility. This includes the uniforms. You will still be able to mix and match the away pants with the home tops etc. though.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Connected Franchise & Owner Mode Articles From Around the Web
Shaun Mason from Tradition Sports Online said that as far as he knew, created players and customized rating carry over to the league files.
Again, he's not 100% sure either so it's worth looking into.Comment

blurst news.I believe Ratings are still a no. If there is one flaw with an always connected Franchise, this is probably the major one. Don't know how they would get this in as its currently designed.
As for everything else, edits are back in, especially the dreaded jersey numbers.

A lot has been done to progression this year, I know that. Especially in regards to age. I saw running backs regress heavily after the age of 30, and team roster AI is much better as well. For instance, I saw Michael Turner drop 8 points after year one and no one wanted to pick him up. The regression in relation to age is different for each position. Meaning QB's shouldn't regress at 30 like RB's do.
You'll also see some players get rewarded for breakout seasons. I thought what they've done to progression was really solid, at least in the builds I played.

the pre-determined storylines are the issue.
draft classes dont appear to have pre-determined storylines this year thanks to the ratings randomisations, so maybe there may be hope..Comment

Thats a step in the right direction, but my main issue is that sometimes draft classes come out poorly and they have poor ratings on players.A lot has been done to progression this year, I know that. I just like have customization options though.
But do you know if you can edit physical attributes...like height, weight, skin color, etc? That hasnt been allowed in a long time, it seems.Comment

Thanks, Corey. I'm excited and anxious to find out about the CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise, and if you can edit ratings for both created players and real players in the NFL.Comment

If you look at the team select screen from playbook 3 you can see Derek Anderson, yes the less than mediocre backup for the Panthers, rated overall 80.That's not very promising.By that screen ratings look way too high Jimmy Claussen at 74 isn't good either.Comment

Re: (GoodGameBro) 'Madden NFL 25' CFM: Owner Mode & NCAA import are back
While I am guessing they will, I hope the CPU teams have a significant "predisposition" to retain the same name, or bring back a old one - Oilers - I really don't want to see Brooklyn Beats in my NFL fantasy world - perhaps an option to "lock" CPU teams into their names at the very least - If I gotta fly to London and play the Crumpets I am gonna lose my freaking mind.Comment

Re: (GoodGameBro) 'Madden NFL 25' CFM: Owner Mode & NCAA import are back
Just came across this that sounds pretty interesting:While I am guessing they will, I hope the CPU teams have a significant "predisposition" to retain the same name, or bring back a old one - Oilers - I really don't want to see Brooklyn Beats in my NFL fantasy world - perhaps an option to "lock" CPU teams into their names at the very least - If I gotta fly to London and play the Crumpets I am gonna lose my freaking mind.
I really like the sound of that. It almost reminds of what NFL Fever did with the made up teams for their 'fantasy challenge' or whatever it was called. When creating the team relocation feature, EA went to the NFL and procured a list of viable NFL cities. After doing that, they created a selection of team names and back stories for each city. Want to move to Brooklyn and recreate the Dodgers, go ahead! How about move another franchise to Houston and resurrect the Oilers? You can do that too. In one of the smarter design decision in my opinion, EA took each city/name combination and asked Nike to create various uniforms for each combination. That means each uniform will be professionally done, so I won’t ever have to play a team that uses “grass green” as a main color choice.Comment
