LoL your doing too much, just assume it's not fixed and whites don't get dirty correctly, so when u get the game if it is fixed you'll b happy.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Screenshot - Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Virginia Cavaliers (Rain)
they had this right in Madden back in the ps2 daysRain games would be so much better if it changed up a little. Start out raining and end up just being cloudy by the end of the game or vice versa. And make the crowd look more realistic when it comes to rain games. What I mean by that it.....it usually isn't a sell out and the the ponchos. You see bright colors like yellow, orange, green, etc ponchos throughout the crowd.
It is nit picking....but it gives the rain games a little more. I can't stand playing rain games because they just don't seem realistic.Comment

I think that was actually the linebackers hand. He is a black guy and the image has the bloom effect so its hard to see. thats the conclusion I have come toComment

That was one of my favorite parts of playing Madden 06. Ponchos when it rained, winter jackets when it was snowing, etc. They even got the attendance for each team right, for the most part. It was probably the best current gen game in terms of making sure the crowd behaved realistically.Comment

Well in the picture u can actually see the dirty white jerseys its the brown blurComment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Screenshot - Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Virginia Cavaliers (Rain)
I'd have to assume that with all the complaints they've received in the past in regards to the white unis not getting dirty, they'd go out of their way to show them dirty in this picture. However, they decided to blur out each white uniform, or at least hide them so you can't make anything out, in this picture.
I'm not holding out hope that the uni dirty issue is fixed until I see it with my own two eyes with the game in my XBOX."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Screenshot - Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Virginia Cavaliers (Rain)
It's unlikely to be fixed this generation, don't quote me on this because it's entirely off of memory but it's an issue with their lighting effects and the white jerseys and essentially the clean jersey is blocking the dirty template from showing. It's unlikely to be fixed this generation, if they alter the engine it'll be more likely to catch it early on the XB1/PS4 generation.
I could be completely wrong and it could be fixed, because like I said it's off entirely memory (and I hope I'm wrong!)Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|

I don't call this nit picking. I call it wanting a dynamic weather system. Skyrim, F1 2012 and F1 2011 and a host of other games have really nice dynamic weather systems. I've been asking for this for 4 years.Rain games would be so much better if it changed up a little. Start out raining and end up just being cloudy by the end of the game or vice versa. Why is it that just because you see no fault with this series you jump down the throat of everyone else who does? It doesn't matter how outlandish you think the blurry pic claim may have been the issue is this; if it's white it doesn't degrade. Who cares whether it's pants or the jersey. Fix it!Why do you conspiracy theorists keep asking this? The problem from '13 isn't that "white jerseys don't get dirty." It's that "white uniforms don't get dirty."
Yes, the Pitt players are blurry due to the depth of field of the shot.
You know what? All of the Virginia players are wearing white pants (which aren't blurry) so if you wanna look for dirty white uniforms, look at their pants. If EA and their evil selves wanted to cover up their lack of dirty white uniforms (which I'm sure they wanted to do because they're out to get you) then they wouldn't have shown Virginia (who has at least 2 non-white pant color choices) in white pants.Last edited by Sundown2600; 05-23-2013, 05:21 AM.Comment

Firstly, I think there are lots and lots of faults with the game. Secondly, you completely missed my point (which I don't understand because you seem to have completely understood it). You just said yourself "if it's white it doesn't degrade. Who cares whether it's pants or the jersey" which is exactly the point I was making. If you want to know whether or not white uniforms degrade in '14, it doesn't matter whether it's pants or the jersey, you can look at either to see if they degrade. My point is that there are a lot of white pants in this photo that are not blurry so look at those to see if white uniforms are degrading. Why is it that just because you see no fault with this series you jump down the throat of everyone else who does?
