Why can't they get Ray Allen free throw animation right?

That's the most simple free throw animation I'd think.

He dribbles the ball and hold the ball at the top of his head for half a second before he shoots it.

Now in 2k13, they basically forces you to release it while the ball is not even near where Ray Allen would normal hold the ball before he shoots it in real life to get a perfect release. Ya all have shot free throws with Ray Allen in 2k13 know what im talking about!

because they are to cheap to pay ray to come in, or ray doesn't want to, so someone else makes the animation

Same with a few others like Chris Bosh, his animation is way too quick. And for some reason after 2k10 or 11 they took Carmelo's FT animation out of the game. It was perfect but it just needed to be a tad slower as well.

Not that big of a deal though is it? And it does look pretty good as it is.

Karl malone free throw animation is very bad too.
              Shaq is too slow.
Rodman is perfect, cartwright, Ewing, pippen, barkley, very good.
There is a little difference between the reality and the game and it is really fustrating sometimes. The worst was when nba 2k13 presented the dream team in september and said even the free throw of malone is in the game!!! I was so disappointed!!!

Patrick Ewing routine is good but not perfect. He should stare at the ball before looking at the rim and shooting the ball.

they have current players mimic the forms, don't expect them to be that good for non current guys

I do expect them to be that good because it is not difficult at all. If I were to mimic Ewing`s routine, I`d look at the ball before shooting it. If I were to mimic Bird`s routine, I`d bend my legs while looking at the rim before shooting it. If I were to mimic Magic`s routine I`d never bounce the ball to my right side before shooting it because Magic never did that.
That is not fun, that is poor mimic and lazy work.

                            LeBron's free throw is off.

His index finger is 0.035cm longer than his middle finger when he releases the ball. Also, his wrist is at a 45.24 degrees when it should have been 45.35 degrees.
