TEXAS TECH fans
I'm building every Texas Tech team since 1960 for NCAA 13 on PS3 as well as many Texas Tech opponents since 1960 from Southwest Conference, Big XII and non-conference play. I upload screenshots and videos of the teams here as I finish them. Uniforms and rosters are extremely accurate and often include bowl game jerseys with bowl patches from that year. My PSN ID for downloading them is DreadRaider76.Tags: None -

Re: TEXAS TECH fans
WOW! What a project.
I've made the 95', 02', 03', and 08' Tech teams on 360. It took me quite a bit of time just finding old depth charts.
Best of luck. Wish I could get them on 360.Comment

Re: TEXAS TECH fans
Didn't know till I looked it up that it doesn't matter if you're 360 or PS3.
However, I just have to comment on the ratings. They seems a bit...high.
I LOVE Tech, but I don't see the 91' and 92' teams as A-ish overalls. Maybe you haven't edited it yet?
EDIT: That being said your uniforms are awesome!Comment

Re: TEXAS TECH fans
Yes, that is the one thing, some of the teams still need to be toned down quite a bit, it's an ongoing project and I will be tweaking the players skills quite a bit from time to time, so update regularly. I thought I was doing them pretty accurate, but when I finished and saw the team ratings, most were way too high. Please be patient, I just work on them when I have time and it is a massive project.
One thing I found that is greatly reducing building time is building the team in TB 12, then importing it to TB 13. Then I can take the TB 12 team and just change some players from year to year and tweaking the skills of the players that are still on the roster from the previous year. this keeps me from having to build every team from the ground up, just making season-to season changes, then importing and saving in TB 13. It also saves time in keeping the players looking the same from year to year or their skills being somewhat similar to their skills in other years.Comment

Re: TEXAS TECH fans
Also herropreese, I know what you mean about the rosters. Fortunately I've been saving media guides, programs and rosters clipped from newspapers since I was 12 so I have all the rosters back to 1988. 1960-87 I have very little on...another member on here (metallicarl) has old Street & Smiths from the 70's so he's helped me. Legendary Tech QB Rodney Allison saw my Facebook site for the teams and messaged me to offer his help too. Whne I finish all the '88 to current teams, I'll probably just go to the library to search old Lubbock Avalanche-Journals on microfilm and make copies of all the rosters I don't have. The website fanbase.com also has a lot of rosters and photos (which is how I've got the unis so accurate each year).Comment

Re: TEXAS TECH fans
Is there a reason why you made two threads for this? Nice project, but not sure it warrants two threads.

Sorry, I haven't been active on this forum too long...I was posting one in the main NCAA Football forum and one under the TeamBuilder section. If I shouldn't have I apologize.Comment

Re: TEXAS TECH fans
Another thing with the early 90's teams, herropreese...those teams did have several good players. Overall, the teams didn't produce well on the field finishing around .500, but I think the team ratings are coming out so high because of a few great players at skill positions such as Robert Hall, Bam Morris, Lloyd Hill, Rodney Blackshear and Tracy Saul.Comment
