Re: Madden NFL 25 Presentation Details, New Sideline Reporter Added (Name Not Reveale
Hopefully, the sideline reporter does injury reports in-game and interviews the player of the game. And regarding both -
Hopefully, the reporter actually tells you the injury sustained by a CPU player and how long he'll be out instead of just the user team. Hopefully, its not Simms updating injuries because he was wrong more times than right.
And player of the game return INT TD glitch better be eliminated. I had a game with Gore over 150 yards and 3 tds in the Super Bowl but it was Culliver who was the Super Bowl MVP because he returned an INT for a TD.Comment

I think the sideline reporter could be someone like Melissa Stark. NFL Network connection as well as a former Madden connection there. I don't think it will be something that will be skippable, I think it will just be a voice-over like it used to be where they just go to the sideline at the beginning of the game and halftime to give you the coaches thoughts, injury reports and what not. It was done fairly well before, so if they expanded upon what was being said and made it concise and not drawn out, I think it could be very successful.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Presentation Details
I asked that question for the bears fans, he said it would be fixed. He said they were just going off the style guide that nike gave them last year, the developers didnt choise the color schemes for the new nike uniforms and Nike made some uniform changes prior to the start of the season. I'm a packers fan by the way, but I know that was important to the Bears fans out there.Last edited by jpdavis82; 06-02-2013, 12:02 AM.Comment

The bold is something that really frustrates me. I hate seeing players who put up great games that aren't unsim (such as a 500 yard receiving effort) but a really solid performance, such as a 9 catch, 140 yards 3 TD performance only to be ignored for my dime CB who scooped up a fumble and housed it...
its the little bugs like that that really frustrate.
Your other two points are excellent and I fully co-sign.

I really hope they'd pair that with an overlay showing their defensive numbers with an indicator that says "*-during [#] game winning streak". Little things like that go a long way.Comment

Prefer gameplay fixes, but this is nice. Anything that helps make it a more realistic NFL experience is a plus. Gameplay still needs a ton of work. Hoping for proper running/movement at some point from EA Sportsso Madden can get back to playing a more realistic game of football.Comment

I don't care diddly squat about the current gen version I've been done with it for years. Ill start complaining if I don't like what I hear and see on June 10th.Comment

If nothing else, people should pay attention to the current gen version from madden 13 and now on because it is being used as building blocks for the future. The fundamental gameplay improvements and dedication to becoming more authentic to the NFL now are encouraging signs for the transition to next gen.Comment

Mike also said in this podcast that they did ride-alongs with CBS and recorded stadium audio in New England of the muskets firing and a game in Pittsburgh, as well as some other games, said there will be a lot of cool stadium sounds and classic rock anthems in the game this year.Comment

Did they add more Qb cadence's, more specifically did they add Romo's KILL KILL cadence? I I mean he only says it every other play, wonder how they missed that last year.Comment

Well I finally listened to the interview and kudos to Mr Bill on doing an OUTSTANDING job asking substantive questions, not some softball fluff. Can't say enough about that sir, it may seem like a small thing to some but after listening and reading so many "interviews" with Madden workers over the years, it was very refreshing to have someone cut through all the politicking, to ask real questions.
As for the things Mike Young stated, I seem to have pretty much nailed it in my first post ITT, before even hearing the actual interview. When the Creative Director of Madden seems to think mass subs is "some tricked out new thing", there is an obvious disconnect.
That said Mike Young is CD for M25 on PS3/360 but Kolbe is CD for M25 on PS4/Xbox1, so I will just tune out any more info about M25 for the current consoles and focus on info about what Kolbe was able to accomplish for M25 on the new consoles.Comment

Feels wrong quoting a post talking about a 9er SB win but whatever.... lol
