The thing I miss the most in the NCAA Football series that used to be in was Lee Corso's headgear pick. There were always some surprises in his picks. I wonder why they totally cut him out of the series ever years ago.

Miss the most would be the spring drills. Deciding who participates, and being able to allocate points based on the performance gave a sense of involvement in player progression that is sorely missing on the current game. I remember really enjoying the drills on '07 on PS2.

It also allowed you to train freshman instead of having to wait until the offseason of their first year. It was like they were early enrollees and they were practicing with the team already so they progressed.

This. It just added another dimension. I also miss the sports illustrated magazine covers. Really gave a sense of realism.

FCS teams and the ability to do an almost full dynasty with them... I am setting one up as we speak, strangely enough...lol

Yeah that was very realistic. Did you risk not suspending a guy and having the NCAA come down on you with penalties or did you risk losing a game because you suspended them.

Yeah I don't know why they ever took the FCS teams out. I loved trying to take a small school and moving them up to play with big boys. It was a heck of a lot better than those fake schools they have in the game just to fill out the schedule.

I was going to say this also. I thought that by NCAA 14 they would release some rendition of College Gameday. So im guessing thats going into the XboxOne/PS4.


Wonder why they added visual commentators in Madden 13 but not in NCAA 14. Could do quite a bit for Dynasty Presentation

Agree, and furthermore I miss that budget of 100 where you had to distribute points into recruiting, training and discipline. I was always making notes on what balance I was applying. For example, I might set my budget at 45/35/20 (recruting, training, discipline).

I enjoyed having to put thought into what was most important for the upcoming season. If you didn't reserve enough points for discipline, you ran a real risk of running out & getting in hot water with the NCAA. I arrived at the philosophy that I would only sign players with "good" discipline.

Looking back, this would prob be my 2nd most missed feature.

Yeah I don't know why they would have put visual commentators in Madden but not put them back in NCAA since they were in NCAA first.

I can't wait to see how much more they can do with the new consoles.

Hard to say what I miss the most, but just to add....from a presentation standpoint, I miss the dynamic crowd. I recently popped in '09 and it was a real nice touch to see the crowd thin out in the 4th quarter during a blowout and not being able to pump up the crowd at home if you were losing badly.
