Lakers Ditch Kobe, Draft LeBron With 1st Pick
The Lakers were tempted by drafting long-time Laker Kobe Bryant with the 1st pick of the fantasy draft, but they decided otherwise as they drafted reigning MVP LeBron James.
For LeBron, he'll now be taking center stage in one of the country's largest cities in L.A., while former Laker Kobe Bryant will be heading back home to Philadelphia, where he grew up.
