Your longest save streak in one season (not counting the previous season)
What's your longest save streak not including the previous season, Spring Training, and the All Star Game? For me it would be 33 in 33 chances in the first half of the 2018 MLB Season with the Phillies, , first blown save of season for my closer was against the the Mets, who my closer never had a blown save against before. My closer ended the 2018 season with 45 saves and 3 blown saves (.938 save percentage), after going 33 for 33 in the 1st half, he went 12 for 15 in the second half, and 12 for 12 after blowing first 3 save chances of the 2nd half, one of them was in the 6th inning in a game against the Giants. The name of the closer is Cole Herrington.Last edited by RecordBreakerCF; 06-15-2013, 07:13 PM.Tags: None -

if double A counts my closer went 47-47 before jumping AAA and going straight to the bigs a year later. Fastball cutter and two seam fastball FTW!Comment

That's a better streak (47-47) than what my RTTS closer in the 2019 season (33-33).Comment

My dominant RTTS closer broke his personal best save streak by getting 53 saves in 53 chances in 2022, which was the last year of 6 year extension with the Phillies.

I'm currently on a 23 save streak with Glen Perkins. And to top it off he has an impressive 0.93 ERA!Comment
