holy crap i have never seen a thread so b****y in my entire life. i go over to the gamingtailgate to get their opinions and they actually compliment on the improvements and see the game for what it is. i personally thought that the video looked smooth and improved. jeeeeeez luiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis

I literally just read through the LSU/Texas A&M gameplay thread on that site and their reaction is the same exact reaction to this thread. lol. The complaints (running animations, looking like 13, lack of noticeable IE2, crowd noise) are exactly the same. The praise (colors, blocking) is exactly the same.

I know for a fact I have mentioned 3 separate things about the video that I liked in this very thread.

Read all the posts before I watched the video lol....and to my surprise it wasn't that bad. Looked like some improvements have been made, but as others said, we should wait to see more before we really judge. I noticed new Adidas cleats, and gloves which was a plus, and I know they added new Nike ones, but lets hope for cleats also....its the little things!

They did show off animations! Did you not see the foot planting and the blocking and the guys falling down?!!? THOSE ARE THE NEW ANIMATIONS!!!

If you guys hate this game so much, why do you waste your time on the message boards? All I hear from a majority of the people on here is how much they think the game is just 13.5 or 12.5 or 11.5. Its the same every year and I'm tired of hearing about it. JUST GIVE UP ON THE FRANCHISE. Obviously EA is NEVER going to achieve the level of greatness so many of you expect on a yearly basis, so just wipe it from your lives and move on.

The game looks absolutely fine to me in this video. As long as it doesn't freaking freeze like it did last year, it'll be fun to play.

I'm out of here until release day. Reply if you want, but I'm not reading it.

You are a drama queen man. lol. Throwing a hissy fit because people have a different opinion than you over something they want to like. But this isn't the first time this site has hurt your feelings when it's come to their reaction to a gameplay video. Same thing happened last year.

If you can't discuss this without all caps and complaining about peoples opinion then it's best if you did "get out of here".

I mean you got to be a fool not to see the difference between 13 and 14 colors PoP out the most beautiful thing i seen was the blocking... i literally got happy when i looked at the line interaction but obviously this wasnt on All American or Heisman which i assume most play on...but overall i see improvementes. ill make my judgement next week...


OH AND I FORGOT DID YOU SEE AT :23 MARK A BIGGER LINEMAN STRAIGHT CLEANED A LITTLE CB FOR ONCE....

Wasn't the improvements I was expecting, but wasn't terrible either IMO. Will wait to see more gameplay before I jump off the cliff.

One thing that worries me is that I saw NO physics in that video. I know they said they tuned it from Madden, but did they have to tune it back to 0?

You'll have to see more than a minute to know how much the IE is in there. I could show you a video of a minute of Madden 13 without physics too, except for the tripping over players, which you actually can see in this NCAA 14 video too.

This happens every single year lol. It's almost a parody of itself now.

Trailers come out. "Wait till gameplay video."

Gameplay video comes out. "Might be an old build. Wait till demo."

Demo comes out. "Not the same build. It's just a demo. Wait till retail."

Retail comes out. "This will be fixed in a patch. Wait till then."

Patches come out. "Wait till next year."

I feel what you see is what you're getting. I hope I'm wrong. I'd love for there to be a tremendous improvement from crowd audio and reaction. But the actual gameplay? It's right there in front of us IMO.

If this is such an old build, why would they even put this video out? What purpose does it serve? If they have something better for E3, why not just wait 3 days to show it off?

I mean, wow. The CB still has the momentum to stand up the RB like that? Why did the S just run into an invisible wall and slide off instead of finishing up the tackle? Where is the IE on this play?

That part that's driving me nuts is that the blockers are still acting like idiots. Watch the first play from the vid at :08. The LT lets his man go (as he should) but then runs straight downfield for ten yards before deciding "Hey I should go block the safety" and making a 90 degree turn out to get him.

Then look at the play in the .gif above. At the beginning on the far right you see the right tackle going out to block a safety, but then the guy just runs right by him without the RT so much as raising his arms. Sure enough, that's the defender who makes the play. And then the guy just keeps running and trips over his own man.

Just watch that RT and try not to imagine him yelling HODOR HODOR throughout the play

Such a waste.

Is NCAA 14 using scrambled, random rosters this year?

Yes or no?

If yes, I will NOT buy and I will never buy again. I was not informed either way.
