PG - Jerryd Bayless - Some projected Bayless would be drafted by the Thunder with the #4 pick in '08. They went with another guy named Russell Westbrook. In 2K13 he's money from midrange and a solid sparkplug off the bench. His passing isn't that great, but he can definitely put points on the board.
SG - O.J. Mayo - Had a breakout season this year in Dallas. Very well rounded player who seems to be on the verge, but needs a little more to fully bust out. In 2K13 he's easy to use and has a great all-around game that makes him the easiest player on this list to turn into a star.
SF - Michael Beasley - Fortunately, in 2K13 I am the one who selects the type of shots Beasley takes. His defense is horrendous, but he can score from pretty much anywhere on the court. Remember when the Bulls had to decide between Beasley and Rose?
PF - Anthony Randolph - My absolute favorite player to turn around. He has so much potential as a Lamar Odom type, but hasn't been able to find the NBA minutes. In 2K13 I like to use him as a point-forward and sometimes even point-center for small-ball lineups.
C - Hasheem Thabeet - Fastest way to increase Thabeet's OVR in 2K13? Train him in any kind of offense. Thabeet is so terrible on the offensive end of the floor, his offensive ratings might as well not be there. My biggest hope for Thabeet is that I can turn him into Defensive Player of the Year. It's going to take a lot of work, but he's only in his mid-twenties.
