It's pretty hilarious that Auburn for the last few years has had one of the worst defenses known to man and yet most of their top rated players on this game are defensive players. I just find it hilarious and wrong.Atlanta Braves
Atlanta Falcons
Auburn Tigers
Detroit Red Wings

Re: NCAA Football 14 Player Ratings - Top 10 Players From Each Team
He's got a 99 accel, right? Markus Wheaton beat Thomas in the 100m this year and Wheaton only had a 92 speed with a 94 accel in the game.Comment

<quote>How the hell is AJ McCarron ranked over Tajh boyd and Aaron Murry? And Watkins should be 98</quote>
Because he's better than both of them.USA/Bama/Laker FanComment

To give some stats on this argument:
AJ McCarron: 175.3 QB rating, 2933 yards, 30 TD, 3 INT, 4 rush yards, 1 rush TD
Tajh Boyd: 165.6 QB rating, 3896 yards, 36 TD, 13 INT, 514 rush yards, 10 rush TD
Aaron Murray: 174.8 QB rating, 3893 yards, 36 TD, 10 INT, -68 rush yards, 3 TDComment

Someone want to explain to me how De'Anthony Thomas, who is a good player but didn't perform up to expectations last year, is rated as high as Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel and Biletnikoff winner Marqise Lee?
How is AJ Mccaron equal to Manziel also for that matter?
I don't know how EA messes up the rankings every year, it should be pretty easy. The highest guys should be those that won the top awards at their position and made the all conference teams. Start with the Heisman/individual awards then comes the unanimous all-americans, consensus all-americans, all-americans and unanimous all-conference guys, etc. How is a guy like Thomas who didn't even make 2nd team all-conference in the Pac 12 tied as the 2nd highest ranked player in the game?
Looks like I'm going to have to do a lot of editing of the rankings as usual.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Player Ratings - Top 10 Players From Each Team
Looking at WKU's top 10 players
FS #1 Jonathan Dowling 88 OVR(Andrews and Jackson should be better than Dowling, but this is about where Dowling should be rated)
MLB #4 Andrew Jackson 88 OVR(A decent rating, think he should be at least a 90 though)
RT #60 Ed Haselett 83 OVR(Probably a bit overrated, but not by much, I think Conway is better)
LOLB #13 Xavius Boyd 82 OVR
P #99 Hendrix Brakefield 81 OVR
C #65 Sean Conway 80 OVR
CB #22 Tyree Robinson 79 OVR
HB #5 Antonio Andrews 79 OVR(WHAT?, He only led the country in all-purpose yds last year, and was less than 100 yds in beating Barry Sanders's all-purpose yds record in one season, he should have been at least a high 80s or low 90s!!!)
K #56 Garrett Schwettman 79 OVR(Even at 79, this may be a little overrated)
SS #29 Kiante Young 79 OVR360 Gamertag: PaulDWKU85Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Player Ratings - Top 10 Players From Each Team
How he's rated better than Philly Brown is way beyond me. Double the catches should tell you who OSU feels is clearly better. If I'm not mistaken didn't Smith have some catching issues later on in the year? Oh, what one amazing catch will do for your ratings in EA's eyes.Bradley Roby's rating should definitely be higher. He is without a doubt the best player on Ohio State and IMO (and almost everyone else's that pay attention to the NFL Draft) he's the best CB in the nation. I'm extremely confident he'll be a top 10-15 pick, and with a 91 rating I wonder if he's even in the top 50 players. Should be a 94-95 at least, with 97 speed.
Miller shouldn't be a 96. His accuracy rating should be in the low 80's at best. Devin Smith seems a little overrated too, as does Christian Bryant. I always have to redo the rosters anyway, so meh... this is nothing new.Comment
