UNC football has dropped Navy from their color scheme, they replaced it with Black and got all new uniforms based around the new look. The only thing that appears to be the same from last year is the Chrome footprint helmet (though they may have swapped the navy accents on it for black ones I can't say for sure). The new UNC unis will be in the first pack, the white helmet will be identical to the one they wore against Duke except the navy facemask and decal parts will now be black. Unfortunately, Black is the new Navy in Chapel Hill, or at least it is for football, I'm hoping it doesn't extend to their other sports.

My point with BC is that they may be back in, just not as a preset (were they a preset in '12? this could give some insight as to whether or not they will be a preset in '14).

My guess on UCLA is that they never have many presets, in fact before the All-White look they didn't have any presets if my memory serves me correctly.

I can understand the UVA orange helmets not making it in last year (they had only worn them in a bowl game and that does not mean they would wear them again. Georgia Tech for example wore white uniforms with a different number font for the '99 Gator Bowl, the font was never seen again, LSU wore a new template with a new font in the Peach Bowl this year, they are keeping the new template but sticking with their old font (Ole Miss is using that font now which is weird)).

The reason why the Orange helmet may not be a preset is because of when they wore it and with a different combination every single time. Also they used the same helmet for all 4 games in which the helmet was orange (games 1 and 2 it was identical to the bowl game helmet, then they took off the current logo replaced it with the throwback decal, put a stripe on it and replaced the navy facemask for a grey one, then the next week they swapped the decals again leaving the stripe and the grey facemasks. So which orange helmet do they add? My vote goes with the original version (the one they wore in the Peach Bowl and to start the year). I guess making an all Orange preset would make sense, but they've never worn all orange.

All I'm saying is hold off on the outrage until we see what is actually in the game. Your response to me was much more level-headed than your original post in that regards. And I apologize for missing the "based on the video line" but my main point in responding was the tone of your post.

You make a fair point on most of these, I understand what your saying about UNC and the UCLA ones

With the UVA one, it seems like the Orange Helmet, Navy Jersey, Orange Pants Combo.....via vs. Penn State game, would be its own preset, but regardless I just hope its in the game

Im going to check a video of NCAA 12 and check on that preset BC Gold Alt Jersey, and find out if it was or wasnt one

In the End we all just want as many uni's in the game as possible, so no harm done man, but also you make a big deal about my "tone" but can "tone" really be dictated by reading words typed on a computer? I didn't put any !!!!! did I? lol also keep in mind My OP wasnt directed at you or anyone in particular, you choose to respond to it so you shouldn't take it personally, but like I said we all just want to see as many options possible for each team and want them to be correct, good day to you and looking forward to the Uniform 6.0 thread

they were also announced after the uniform cut off date. so they werent added. though probably in the DLC pack. they try to add all the new "Default" uniforms in the free pack to keep people happy. that final pick is nothing possible. the school doesnt even use that logo anymore.

They still dont have NIU's black jerseys that they have worn for the past 2 years. I'd understand that they didnt have the Orange Bowl jerseys. But the black NIU jerseys should have been in the game last year

I don't care about the black uniforms (though it would be cool). I just want these helmets in the game. Perhaps they are and aren't in a "default" uniform pack, which is entirely possible. Just an FYI to EA: If you put these in a uniform pack and charge for it, I WILL buy it. I'm offering you my $5 right now.

Can we get an update on the first post, confirming that there will be a Uniform Pack coming out (for free) that will add in quite a few (exact number unknown) default uniforms that are not already in the game?

Cause this is getting ridiculous, so many people from the various teams complaining about their uniforms not being in (I don't want to single you out jtirpak I'm just quoting you as an example).

Mrprice33 who talked with the guys at the NCAA booth has confirmed this, and has singled out Cal, WVU and UNC as uniforms that will be included, he can't say for sure on others but those are just 3 that stuck out to him (not the only 3 of note).

You can bet that major schools will get fixed in this pack, there is a chance smaller ones won't but the major schools will. So stop posting UConn's stuff (and don't post fan-made "possible pro combat concepts" that include a logo that is now obsolete in all sports).

There will be a thread for this stuff when we get confirmation of what is actually in the game (when only know all of the presets, there are going to be uniform pieces that aren't in the presets its like this every year). In the meantime you can visit the Uniform Updates 5.0 thread. The first page is not completely 100% up to date so please don't start posting stuff that is missing from it (I've got a list I'm working on for the 6.0 thread, I'll ask for input when I start that thread), but you can get and idea of what we already know about.

sometimes they are glitchy in the selection screen, and look different from gameplay. though that is odd. Ive also noted a couple times in different threads that I believe Georgia is going to grey facemask from screenshots and gameplay. also note the difference between Fresno State and UGA back to back in the video. but nothing official.

Does anyone by chance know why the Louisiana-Lafayette still has generic cleats? Russell Athletic teams like GT & Ohio for example has had Nike cleats in the game for several years, but ULL is still getting no cleat love per the video.

Some jerseys aren't in presets. Tech has some gold ones that aren't in there but I would assume they'll be on the game.

So they get all of Oregon's uniforms spot on but they cant have the right uniforms for the National Champs?

well for starters, not all of Oregon's uniforms are spot on. there are some minor errors from what we see in the selection screen. as far as those jerseys, Alabama wore those for the BCS Championship. not sure if its been confirmed they are switching to that newest NIKE template full time. even so, there are such minute differences between the two.
a thicker collar and small "Nike Chain Maille" vents near near armpits on front, across back of shoulder pads, and down the back sides. whereas the "regular" template had a thinner collar and mesh that went from the armpit up to the back by the nameplate
