Not only is EA ignoring the demands of their fan base but they're also detached from reality. They're the opposite of cutting-age.

And if any haters want to post on this thread bashing the equipment gripes, I have news for you: customization sells (cars, computers, clothes, accessories, etc). People want realism, they want options. The devil is and always has been in the details. Life is all about the little things. Get my drift?

EA needs to fix this and in the process their reputation.

very disappointing video. last game of this generation or not. VERY DISAPPOINTING. so much of that equipment is garbage and hasn't been worn in years. well we got rid of the ankle socks about 8 or 9 years later I hope we don't have to wait that long for some updated gear. Maybe I should send them an EASTBAY order catalog and have the boys in charge of equipment for ncaa football 14 have a look at what football players actually wear in 2013. maybe while they are at it they can take a gander at the facemasks that the guys next door at the "madden house" have to pick from in their game. ok im done. disappointing. ok now im really done, sorry.

I do believe this was the last year for EA exclusive rights because of the lawsuit. and they supposedly wont renew it for at least 5 years. however EA also has an exclusive deal with ESPN (15 years, signed in 2005) and that is a huge part of college football.
